Chief Justice of any High Court can take charge as a Governor of any state, but as retired Chief Justice of Supreme Court to accept Governorship is quite strange.

Ambedkar was right in many instances, but over looked by the government.Governor posts reserved only for the governing party retired Minsters or supporting persons.Congress had apponted only such persons including corrupt back gronds.Nothing wrong in appointing retired SC judges as governer they are expert and they know constitutions in and out. That will be head ache to the corrupt state governments

just a greedy man, even overlooked protocol, its is obvious that a person who served as chief justice of India a much higher and distinguished post, a post next to that of president of India, agreed to serve as subordinate just bcoz following previllage,1) as governer of state you will enjoy the supreme head of state, 2)monthly remuneration of almost 2 lak/pm apart from the pension amount of cji,3)an job with lowest tension in the government of inidan service 4)it ws requirement of nair and christian bastion of kerela to protect their poltical interest through this guy.

P.Sathasivam is one of the most corrupt Chief Justices the Supreme Court has been.

He dismissed the over Rs.1000 Crore Taj Corridor corruption case and acquitted Majawati for mere mistakes in technicalities.
His reward for acquitting Majawati is said to be Rs.300 crores. He is also said to have bought over 1000 acres of cultivable land in his native village in TN.

Palaniswami Sathasivam is a typical promotee of the DMK and AIADMK combine where Dravidians are promoted without any considerations of merit. Imagine a top judge like Sir Harilal Jekisundas Kania and Mandakolathur Patanjali Sastri or Altamis Kabir and other eminent jurists like Kapadia occupying the post; and then it was filled by Sathasivan. Even the experience and competence of the judge is well below par for a Supreme Court Chief Justice. Sathasivan had never handled high profile cases as a lawyer in his younger days, and he never even had any practice in the Madras High Court. As a person from Tamil Nadu, I sincerely feel that there were by far hundreds of better candidates from Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta and several other High Courts across the nation, not to mention Allahabad, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Madras.
