I am surprised to see this type of illogical reaction from Girish Karnad. plz see the facts and inferences given below: 1. Modi CAN NOT eliminate Muslims from India since he knows Srilanka & LTTE story.
2. About 1984 Sikh riot : MMS was the best rubber stamp PM Sonia cud find, as u can see it in Sanjay Baru's book and not for the reason mentioned by Girish. About the apology, they have apologised but did the Sikh victims hav accepted their apology ? 3. About the poor Indians: Do u want them to live on Govt facilitated subsidies or rise above their misery & write their won destiny. Yes Govt can help them in this venture. In US ony 2% people are in agriculture & in India more than 70%, but still we starve. Is it not the high time that all the Indians should be rich ? See Japan or any other European country, there u can hardly find any poor. What Japanese have as natural resources ? Nothing. But we have almost everything except few, those are positive attitude, self respect, introspection, nationalism....
We hav given a chance to Modi to shape in to a developed nation if we find he is not in the right path then he will face the same as Cong facing today after 65 yrs.
4. Mr. Girish for ur kind info plz note that army & CRPF are not under state govt command. So plz update urself. Do u think so many SITs cud not find this fact anainst Modi ????

i feel you are taking the ploys of these politicans representing sects, castes, religions too seriously... they are just that politicians. they don't represent anyone. they want to come to power because unfortunately indian polity is so divided thats why they take these planks. after that - once they are in power they don't care. they don't care how they came. they are well intentioned and with strong development plank they can take the country to great places, make great strides.
unfortunately, mr karnad you don't read the games of these politicians very shrewdly. modi has the power now and he is well intentioned - he will and should take the country to great strides! Absolutely!
And take along with him all states, castes, sects and religions. Just watch and understand their games.
