Promoters must refund full Money with Interest .
by Gulzara Azad on Jun 21, 2014 03:29 PM  | Hide replies

Flats that are ubnder demolition, the falt owners msut be returned the full money with interest for the years and close the matter. This is the only way out,and then jail the offenders ( Builders and the BMC Officials) who allowed this nonsense. This can be a solution ,I think. The loss ofcourse is the major issue but Illegal Falts need to be demolished as per Supreme Court Orders. No choice. No Modi or Gandhi can help.Sorry for the falt owners who believed the Builders and paid full money for the flats that are illegal.

ADARSH WHICH IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL HAS TO BE DEMOLISHED FIRST. BUT THAT WILL NOT BE DONE. BECAUSE POLITICIANS AND THE RICH OWN FLATS THERE.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT RULES FOR THE COMMON MAN AND FOR THE RICH AND POWERFULL?

Will it improve system?
by AKSHAY JAIN on Jun 21, 2014 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

SC must understand, we live in a corrupt society, 90% people are victim of corruption. Real culprit of such things are politicians, first person who needs to butcher CM of that time. If SC think without punishing politicians and throwing there people out, we will built a lawful society and illegal construction will stop then all this is not going to happen. This is bad example of our justice system which is basically injustice.

R R PATIL CAN ISSUE AN ORDINANCE TO STOP DANCE BARS FROM OPENING, BUT HE WILL NOT ISSUE AN ORDINANCE TO PROTECT INNOCENT HOUSE OWNERS.
NEXT ELECTIONS KICK OUT THIS GOVT. WE ALL KNOW THE CREDENTIALS OF THE LIKES OF TATKARE , BHUJBAL AND AJIT PAWAR.THEY ARE STILL BUILDING DAMS FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS.WHERE HAS ALL THE MONEY GONE?

their mistakes!
by Neelakantan R on Jun 21, 2014 01:54 PM  | Hide replies

heir mistakes:

should have alloted a flat to a MP/MLA so the government and judiciary will be flexible;

should have alloted a flat to Shivsena or MNS so that they can take the cause of maharashtrians (unfortunately many of the campa owners are non maharashtrians)

with these two sins, they cannot expect any other outcome!

Yes I agree with you. more over when the flat is registered and they are paying taxes to BMC, I think it is legal. Builder and BMC officials are the real culprits and they must be punished.

This only shows what an ignorant f--k you are!

These buildings were constructed in the late 1980s when your beloved Congress Party ruled the state at all levels of the government!

It is the Shiv Sena-BJP combine which trying demolish as per your wishes!

And all the misery and mess you see in India now has been created by 50 plus years of Congress Party rule!

Regional parties only became prominent in the 1990s!

So grow up and educate yourself so that you stop uttering nonsense from the expelling end of your digestive system!

COMPARING APPLES AND ORANGES
by Vascado on Jun 21, 2014 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

You need to know my stand. Many such illegal slum dwelling units have been evicted in the past too by court orders and I support that. The only difference here is that while the Campa cola residents are filthily rich and educated who have brazenly violated all norms and procedures for pecuniary benefit, the slum dwellers are illiterates who are not aware of laws and norms and are extremely poor just occyping a filthy place near a sewage canal to earn their livelihood. They earn my sympathy.

Please list the names and locations of the slums demolished by B M C in the last 3 years in Mumbai!

You are only gloating because most of these flat owners are Hindu people who worked hard to be successful and not dependent on secular parties like slum dwellers!

Most slum dwellers are followers of "most peaceful" religion like you are and that is why you are posting this baseless nonsense against these flat owners!

In a democracy this kind of behavior is just unacceptable. No entity even government and SC is above people. Without giving people either a new same value of accommodation or equivalent compensation, no one has right to force these people out.

This is a case where BMC has tried to show its strength against common men- for no fault of the latter. Would the BMC would dare to show similar approach towards cases where D-Gang, Pujari gang, Gawli gang, known builders, are involved? Why talk about others? Govt has failed to take action against the culprits of ADARSH Society. It is proved once again that common men has no one to rescue them. Where is MNS/Shiv Sena?? Will it be the same when they come to the power????

Campa Cola residents who are going to be forcefully evicted had a better chance of keeping their homes if they were Mumbai slum dwellers or had established places of worship especially of minority religion on the terraces of these to-be-partly-demolished buildings!

Let this be a lesson to all tax paying, law abiding citizens of India!

In India, it pays handsomely to be illegal and live illegally!
