Friends , Inflation in India is not new thing ,but the way people celeberate the same is bad .No single individual or single company or single state can make any change overnight .It depends on lot of factor such as demand and supply of the product in entire world .Many things even today we need to to depend on nature and event hapening aroung the globe .Such as war like situation at Iraq,low rainfall and so on .About food inflation as these products are perishable nature it requires more attention for storing for a long period .Another major worry factor people forget about increasing demand is population growth . When Mr. Narendra Modi ji soughting against the UPA Govt. for not taking steps to control inflation ,I did understand this was simply a political gimic having no moral value .
It is a national problem irrespective of cas & creed and political barrior we must thing about this .I have many more suggestions in this regard Govt. should adopt my policy .

Modi was shouting against the UPA govt bcuz they did not think of arresting Hoarders and black marketeers of food items. It is clear that these corrupt Hoarders-traders inflate prices by creating artifitial bottlenecks and shortage. They work in cartel and had full political support from Food Minister who himself faced conflict of interest in inflating food prices. Modi govt has identified the real problem and has sat with CM of 10 states where there was a supply problem. He has asked all State Govt to go after the Hoarders and punish them. Thats the right way to tackle the problem and not control veggie prices by raising interest rates. Subbarao puntured the economy with raising interest rates for 18 months continuously. Where the real problem was never tackled.

our most wanted prime minister Modiji will leave no stone unturned to arrest inflation and shall take every possible step to control prices of essential food, oil, and vegitable (like onion and potato). but Modiji must remember that hoarders are a mindless money spinning gang who will try their best to make the market out of supply of every essential commodities and in this matter they are certain to get help from different interested corners. last year, the chief minister of west bengal, Mamata banerjee tried her best to restrict the price of potato and onion in her own state. but, it was hoarders who left no stone unturned to foil her sincere attempt to stop false increase in the prices. in fact, even the medias also played negative role in order to prove the ineficiency of TMC led government. so Modiji must persue chief ministers like Mamataji who are sincere, honest in order to develop the country. here politics should not take front chair, instead, central government should extend full help and cooperation to the states who sincerely want to check the price rise.

How do you know that all the hoarders belong to BJP. Do you have any proof. Even during UPA regime there was incursion by China and Pakistan what was the reaction of UPA. Any concrete action?
Modi party promised that the infaltion will nose dive on election modi Narendran as the PM. But we are yet to see that nose dive...... He is still on the election mood.

MMS and congress party said within 100 days every thing will be normal.Modi party did not say such things.
Today morning I purchased onion at 40kg. I am really surprised that with so much economist/research institution and Govt Dept we are not able to predict production/demand requirement.With propoer mechanism in place we can take early action to stop this kind of situation. Let us see how this govt works.

In a expensive place like Bangalore I bought at 35Rs per kg fixed price. The price is ok and whatever the inflation is due to mulsm hoarders. They were bringing tonnes of onions and stocking them for future higher rates. These mulsm are using onions to blackmail govt. Modi sarkar is taking very right steps.

I bought it at 25/- at Ghaziabad and potato also.Both of best quality.You might have been cheated.the prices in gaziabad are same as Delhi

before importing it is important to go after the Hoarders and punish them. We have had record production of food in stock but hoarders inflate prices of essential commodities. They are mafia and need to be punished.
If people will stop eating onion only for one week rate will come down to earth.Pls let us start this week from 7/6/2014 to 13/6/2014.Make eat happen.You will not loose anything other than inflation.76r

Minority jain community is not bothered at all if Onion and potatoe prices are to shoot the roof of ware houses and godowns.
Lucky community and its people.
Veg can go without onion for few days. But,Non Veg can't live even for day without onion as their food prepartion has high doses of the item..
People must stop hoarding. Ie buying extra kilos in view of increasing price.. Skip onion as much, there are tomatoes n garlic in place of onion. Fresh n seasonal vegetables to buy. Onion is not Oxygen that we can't live without. The whole salers n hoarders will come on knees once the citizens teach them a lesson,,
