It is a serious issue.A high level committee should be formed to investigate the entire happenings not only in this case but also if any such unethical happening has happened relating to judiciary.Any one doing a mischief can be excused but not a judge. The role of a judge is most sacrosanct.Any one found even remotely guilty should be severely punished so that common man will repose some confidence & faith in Indian judiciary.

So many ddynasty slaves asking why Katju did NOT reveal this earlier??? Simple answer: if he had dared to reveal these facts before May 16, he would have become Late Katju, what a banana republic, folks!
Did you notice the way this ex-judge, Katju, reacted on a news channel when asked why he waited 10 years before exposing the 3 CJIs? The guy just walked away!! There is something definitely fishy in the way he reacted.
For the last 10 years he kept quiet because the UPA was in power and he probably sought undue favours from it. Now that the BJP is in power, he has changed gears and went against the UPA. I wonder what favours he will seek from the BJP now?

For 10 years, I have seen Katju singing praise to UPA and attacking Hinduism. Now, He has made a 'U' turn. Perhaps, He is the biggest opportunist or a born again Hindu.

Your interpretation is absolutely correct! Very few in power circles of India, really retire. They keep on getting indirect goodies, regardless of the government.
Relationship between executive(read corrupt politicians) and the Judiciary seems to be," you scratch my back, I scratch yours while we feast on the corpse of the public"
I agree about the corruption issue and condemn what happened. I have a small humble question. Why did Katju saab speak only now? He used to give several bold statements and interviews. He even called 90% or 99% Indians, idiots. Why didn't he reveal this matter earlier? Did Katju saab see safety in making the revelation only after the regime change?

first of all how can CJIs be pressurised because they are above the law and shielded by the coat of contempt of court wherein they can put in anybody in jail if he even questions their decision. Does this mean the politicians can hire goons to kill them? In that case it is clear Makendeya Katju must also have kept his mouth shut, during the ruling of UPA fearing same fate might befall him if he spoke against anybody. Now that the NDA is there he may be feeling safe

I would have been glad if Mr Katju said in his explanation that he was scared.
The state of affairs seems to be pathetic in the higher and lower judiciary? If the PM and CJIs are like this, what do you expect out of the court staff and govt staff? The TN party responsible for this must be punished?
