Biggest priority is controlling unwanted population, who will bell the cat, all politicians including Kejri-recent one, do not talk on this issue, highly afraid of. Whatever development is done, 2 crore population is added each year eat the development. Chaos, indiscipline is increasing day by day.

I used to think this way earlier, remember friend, Population is the biggest resource we have. All it needs is to be guided in the right direction. Namo Namo.

This slogan we are listening from the last 60 years, so far nothing, moreover when we have increased life expectancy to 65 years, why not control birth too.
Amounting to Sixty per cent of the worlds population (do not have access to toilets) live in India, and hence are forced to defecate in the open. Sixty per cent = 626 million. This makes India the number one country in the world where open defecation is practiced.
No amount of money, infrastructure will be enough if our ever increasing population.
Nobody seems to address this. Its all good to support poor kids languishing in dirt and filth. But its their parents who themselves are homeless that are the culprits.
Our population is touching 130 crores. It should have never crossed 50 crores which would have been ideal for India.

There is a great depth to what you say. Each and every human is an asset when opportunities are provided. Each one is a net benefit to the nation. That was the idea behind Gandhi's "takli" for each and every Indian.
China is more populated than India. And, some Northern European nations and Japan are as densely populated as India.
It is the governance of the nation that is at fault.
The author is a behenji who talks in air like most Indians 1) Poverty is not reduced, in fact Congress appointed Tendulkar committee who falsely fixed poverty line at 33 Rs per day for a family 2) 60% dont have access to toilet in India 3) The number of infant deaths and mortality rates have increases 4) India's biggest wealth was its culture, social values and brotherhood today because of that one city mumbai we are loosing it on every level. Today Sunny Leone is our mainstream actress in bollywood. Statistics proved she is most searched celebrity not because she is good actress but because of her real profession which now young girls will take as shortcut. I never saw india so poor in moral values. India media is paid it spreaf filth for money and TRP and creating hatred. The only thing India improved is providing mobile phones to everyone. If by that parameter it wants to claim we improved than let her think
I really want to say to almighty I am ashamed to be called Indian. Please take me away from this country

Thank for an excellent and an honest post. My heart goes out to you.
I have been blogging for months and finally someone is like minded. So called GDP growth is meaningless which has not improved indias growth actually we are living in abject poverty. Chindambaram views is distorted. he is living a life of luxury but does not care for the poor he is only interested in the rich. Time to approach in a rational way
