India should at least have 100,000 to 150,000 troops else these soldiers will get butchered and overwhelmed by sheer numbers alone. Even their construction crews for tibet railways number 100,000 plus.

Arun, 10 years of chase by SIT, CBI and all other agencies couldn't prove anything. Snooping was a farce. Still you are hysterical about all this? What do you think of Teesta? The Godhara episode and the development which has happened in Gujarat?

Godhara was also organized by modi, RSS and its affiliate to firm up former's position in the state of Gujarat and find a pretext to start riots. All this has been managed by courts in his favour...Malliaka Sarabhai has rightly commented that courts are not above politics...did you get Mr Sashikant Khemani.
As per the media articles he had put up this request to policy makers during his tenor. Its good that our respectable PM & respected Defence Minister has acceded to that proposal now. Some detailed study might have been done by MoD for such high budget expenditure, good they took a decision.
That big big weapon, men and equipment are ok. But what about the road communication. Recently I went to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. The road from Tezpur to Tawang is in pathetic condition. The local people said that Chinese side of road is well metal with black-topping. We joked blasphemously at Tawang that if India is not interested in improving the road, Arunachal should be handed over to China at least to improve the road. In those rugged and majestic mountain, quality, endurance and determination will count more than numbers of men & equipment.

If you are a dweller of North East then you should depend on BRO. But alas! What about the road condition of Eastern States like West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. Is there any good condition of roads at all compared to the Southern states?
