Implement safe technologies
by subrat _ naik on Dec 09, 2014 12:29 AM

- Add GPS tracker, Wifi and Camera pointing to Driver's seat which can be remotely activated by the company
- Passengers should be given 2/3 route options before starting of the journey. Passenger should be aware of the route the cab driver is going to take
- Once the route is selected, an estimated time should generated. The entire route should be divided into 3-10 phases depending of the length of the journey. Each phase should have estimated time. If a driver is taking more than 10% of the estimated time, the cab camera should be activated immediately to monitor the driver
- If the cab is not going as per the route, a call should go to Driver's phone understanding the reason and call to passenger to ask for the safety
- If both the calls not answered after 2 trials, a automatice emergency call should be given to local police with all the details of location, passenger, driver, car etc.
- Like this additional measures of safety layers can be included if the passenger is travelling after 6 PM and if the passenger is alone and female

All these can be Automated process which requires minimal human intervention and can be programmed. The additional cost for this safety net is required for companies like UBER which deals with Billions of dollars in revenue.

Uber
by satya saka on Dec 09, 2014 12:29 AM

uber taxis or meru or ola or the numerous taxis that ply on the roads of India, safety of the passenave to gers while travelling is the topmost agenda for taxi operaters. Police are seen running behind VIP rather than ordinary people. What happened to the delhi transport system why is the govt not serious in not offering lte night service. 9.30 pm is not dead of night

The Rapist do not have money to maintain a family in national capital.
he is married and had his family in Mathura, UP and he is living as bachelor in New delhi.
This is main reason.
Also , its not clear if he was on alcohol or not. Alcohol makes the social animal into wild animal.
Need some data analysis on these factor to address the root cause.
Many times crimes hapenning in public transport only.some solution like ...all drivers of public transport Need to be given a benefits if staying with wife in same house/city etc.
