J&K

i may be a political novice by making this statement....but i was advised by few friends and journalists that atleast 50% of kashmiris want their territory to be annexed to Pakistan, 40% of kashmiris want an independent country (i.e., neither the support of India or Pakistan), 5% want to join India and another 5% undecided. Even when India and Pakistan cricket/hockey matches are played, there is only overwhelming support to Pakistan.

Our Indian Govt whether state or central is fully corrupt and govt machinery is run by 99% coxxupt officials since there is no visionary leader/politician to run this country. With all due respect to Mukund and many Indian soliders who are fighting for us in safeguarding Indian territory there are FEW military personnel who are disgrace to indian community who rxpe kashmiri women or kixx kashmiris in fake encounters in the name of wiping out texxorists.

The central govt whether BJP or Congress or any other coalition will never ever make a concrete decision on solving the kashmir issue. So what is the point in holding J&K within Indian territory when majority of kashmiris don't believe in indian administration and we losing 100s of soldiers for a losing cause? JUST FOR NATIONAL PRIDE?

Sir Your statements has far reaching consequences. There are other muslim majority districts in India and in Assam the Muslims have created problems for the original inhabitants hence Bodos and ULFA have been born. We cannot let Kashmir go, it will be the beginning of the end for India

if u thnk all prblms will end if kashmir is separated frm india u r sadly mistaken..... it will be punjab next and in assam it is already happening....hindus in pak is almost non-existent...in kashmir they hav been driven out....in assam they r fast becoming aminority thanks to the "secular" policies of Congrs..!!the uzlims will continue to try to get more of india.....! the solution is to become so strong as to make the pakis shiver at the very name of india.....and retake the pak occupied kashmir..

Kasmir problem can be solved if Article 370 is abrogated, uniform civil code brought, special status to Kashmir repealed and Indian Tax-Payers money not doled out to Kashmir

you make an interesting point. This is what 66 years of mismanagement has done to India.

Actually let me add: Internationally, India does not have even ONE ally; and India does not have even ONE friendly neighbor be it Nepal, Sri Lanka, Burma or any other nation.

But, please don't blame it on others namely politicians. You have the government you deserve. And, you will always have the government you deserve. Specially India is more or less a democracy. So, blaming others will do you no good.

Enjoy your actions.

Kashmir resolution
by sridhar nanagiri on Apr 29, 2014 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

Unless there is a resolution for kashmir, this thing will continue.

Because both India and Pak are nuclear nation, if you want to get rid of pakistan, then be ready to loose half of india's population means 60 crore people have to die in india?

simple maths is it is better to make resolution of kashmir in accordance with UN law.

Unrest has to be created in Pakistan so that the Sindh,Baluch, Baltistan separate from Pakistan. Then we can take over POK and repeal article 370 so that Hindus can begin to live in Kashmir. There will be no nuclear war, .

what India needs is a patriotic and stable government. There are always many solutions to every problem. At, present India has the worst government of any major nation in the world.

Look at China. China is a real nation run by patriots. It is an extremely successful nation even thought its elite is quite corrupt.

The difference?

Indian rulers are traitors whereas Chinese in power are true patriots who care for majority of the people of that nation.

swordfish, if a national and strong government comes to power this problem will not be that difficult to resolve. We have already lost many valuable lives there. That probably will not be needed anymore.

Unfortunately India never had a real patriotic government since independence, yea I do include Vajpai's government in that. As far as I am concerned Vajpai was a disappointment and he was no better than any other PM who governed India.

I feel Namo is a real patriot for a change. I will never insult this great soul by comparing him with Vajpai the shaire.

If the universe helps him, Sri Modiji will be very good for India.
