When a person joins the Defense he is expected to give up his life for the country. He does not become a martyr as this is what he has chosen & has to do. There is nothing wrong if he has died rather we as Indians should be proud that our defense forces are not tainted with mad people like Gujarat CM.

I think we lost the issue here. Modi or anyone has not sacrificed his life. This is also not about Gen V K.Don't make this issue political. A Martyr has given his life for the nation. Lets salute him.

Do you even get nightmares of Modi? What is the relation of this news with Modi in anyway? In the same vein did you blame Manmohan singh when Indian soldier's head was cut by Pakistani army? You never see anything wrong with what Pakistan does to India and it's soldiers but are ready to blame Modi! Hypocrisy at its peak.

I will tell you what the connection is. Gen V. K. Singh (probably the worst Gen that India has ever had) is shouting from the rooftops saying UPA should not appoint the next Army Chief. The reason being that BJP wants to supercede Lt. Gen Suhag so that another Lt. Gen can become the chief who is the samdhi of V. K. Singh. Now do you get it. And this has Madmax Modi's approval.
Mukundji, You may not here, but your act, your sacrifices for our nation will remember you for ever.Really, You soldiers deserve the REAL respect of the nation. "JAI JAWAN JAI KISHAN."
My heartfelt condolences to his family members and my sincere salute to the Brave son of India, Major Mukund. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten and will shine like our Tricolour Flag.
