Sant Chatwal pleads guilty to charge of violating US electoral la
by Ramaswamy Sundararajan on Apr 18, 2014 10:42 AM

Our people and the political parties are doing graver violation of Indian electoral law.No thing happens to them.
We need strict laws to regulate the political parties. Their accounts have to be audited by the CAG like the parties are asking for power for CAG audit if private industries. More frauds are committed by the political parties than by all the private industries together.
The parties are definitely not likely to agree to any arrangement that will hold them accountable. They must be forced. If need be a massive movement should be launched. Parties should be held accountable.
This will help in curbing a lot of mischief going on in the name of " fair" elections. Is there any one willing to bill the cat?

... India is poor at innovation. We seem to be exporting our innovative ideas to US as well.

What's next ?

Training the cops to look out for, and rein in buffaloes on the interstates ?

dear all , if you remember there is a case by CBI against him for DEFAULTING LOAN worth ?? crores and then running out of contry to USA AND setting up hotel empire. our system conferred PADAM BHUYSHAN for him for this great idea and entreprenurship. there was a lot of HUPLA when he got PADAM BHUSHAN in new papers. NOW americal legal system nailed him which we could not. OUR LEGAL AND POLITICAL SYSTEM SHOULD LEARN SOMTHING FROM THIS.

How beautifully US and the west ensure conviction of guilty. Compare this with that in INDIA. Shame!! Powerful and the politicos ever escapes justice here. Where as the poor, uneducated and only cases involving very wide public outrage see convictions in INDIA. Pity largest demo'crazy'!
