It's never possible to regulate nature or influence the balancing act that nature does periodically, but the preemptive measures taken by our forces in the form of evacuations & preparedness, the reporting done by print,digital & internet media , the preparations & preemptive support extended by the administration , bureaucrats & local politicians is a positive change that could have saved so many lives in Uttarakhand as well. Hope these efforts save precious lives ,if not properties ( which seems impossible ) & changes how we prepare for such natural calamities in future.

What is ill about it ? It is natural progression. :). All coastal areas will be destroyed by cyclones whether you will or no. That is nature. It happened couple of times before. And it will happen again whether you like it or no.

Let us pray that the disaster leaves the life unhurt in areas falling across the path of "Super" cyclone. Let all of us be prepared ( in terms of man and material help) to help our brothers and sisters who are likely to be victims of the disaster. Are not "man made" disasters enough that "Nature" is also putting us to trial and test?
