What is likely the REAL TRUTH
by ajai cs on Oct 09, 2013 01:59 PM  | Hide replies

1. All parties silently conspired to get the ordinance-that permits convicted netas to retain their seats- passed without much noise, as all politicians wanted that !

2. Sushama Swaraj went back on the match-fixing deal and tweeted against the ordinance. Both Congress and BJP leaders were shocked! Rajnath Singh then made the opposition to the ordinance -the official party line.

3. Pranab Mukherji advised by his legal advisers that the ordinance may hit legal roadblocks

4. Congress which was shocked by the match fixing back-stab from BJP -wanted a way out and save its face.

5. It was Pranab Mukerhji's political brain and it was his advise to Congress to get out of the situation by making Rahul oppose the ordinance publicly.

6. Rahul went out and opposed it publicly (well he made a mess of the way he did it!)

Summary of the story: The proposition that Pranab is competing with Rahul and Modi for PM post is wild imagination! Pranab has the confidence of the Gandhis and is infact acting like a political adviser for Rahul - even after becoming president!

you have rightly summed up the events. Pranab da cannot act against Gandhi family. It was like sharing the booty between two (whatever you want to name those two) you be president and my son will be PM. Pranab da agreed for this but added one string that is to make his son a miniter. The ground is being prepared by his son - the first important step was meeting Lalu in jail. Is there any soul on this earth who can take all these politicians to Andaman Nicobar for a party???? Jai Hind

Typical Methodology
by Fan of Politics on Oct 09, 2013 01:57 PM

It has become typical of RSS-BJP and its sympathizers to usurp Congress's leaders as their own. First it was Sardar Patel, then Lal Bahadur Shastri and now attempt at taking over Pranabda. Seriously dont they have leaders of their own at the same stature. This seems to be the first missive from a lesser known right wing sympathizer and slowly it will gain traction as more people in BJP uncomfortable with Modi will try to rope in Pranab. Mr. President please be wary & protect the dignity of your office.

It was a mistake
by Ghaghraa on Oct 09, 2013 01:53 PM  | Hide replies

As such i always adore the way soniaji take her moves, like getting Mahonanji as our PM. But this was a mistake to promote this begnaloi babu to President as he is now sowing differnt color, he is not obyeing soniyaji and rahulji. when he was in congress he was obeying that made soniajyi thought he will not change like pratibaji. if manmohansingji wud have been promoted to President adn rahulji wud have been PM then it would have been wonderful trio and would have ensure we could wife comunal bjp out of india.

Credit must go to first Supreme court, then President (Pranab Mukherjee) NOT to Rahul. According to NDTV news, the ordinance was cleared by the cabinet on Tuesday(24.09.13) and sent the next day to President Pranab Mukherjee. So what Rahul was doing 2 or 3 days?. When the President about to reject the ordinance, Rahul suddenly got up. Wake up Indians.

Those who dont have any points for debate, start such rumors. Such rumors have no base, no study behind it. and the worst part is people in this net zone simply believe it because, it is published somewhere by some one. How qualified these so called learned people are.. just tell me.

This is what the Times wrote while naming Sonia Gandhi as the 30th most influential person in the world. "-Imagine if the U.S. were run by an Indian Hindu woman without a college degree. It's tough: the U.S. has never elected anyone who's not Christian, white and male—even as Vice President. But India, which is an even bigger democracy, is run in all but name by an Italian Catholic widow with a high school education. In the 16 years since the assassination of her husband Rajiv, Sonia Gandhi, née Maino, has become the face of the country's most famous family. As leader of India's Congress Party, she has also managed the largest political party in the country and steered it to power. And she has done all this wearing a sari. The Italian Catholic widow with a high school education, who in all but name. runs the Government (Source: Times Magazine) knows very well that once her tottering senile Congress supporters are out of the picture , she will be dropped like a hot potato, To keep her position, she has only the senile oldies to support her.

in 1857, indians chose bahadur shah jafar as leader, who was in eighties, was not a fighter but a poet and was incapable of governing. Jhansi Ki Rani as leader would have pushed britain out of india. In place of Dara Shikoh Aurangjeb was chosen only because he was ferocious pro muslim, result was end of mugal era. choosing incompetent persons is our habit
