Congressmen should renounce inviting celebrities--this in fact is overshadowing the good work been done by Politicians. Celebrities crave for publicity, no matter that is accrued by false allegations.
Shwetha Menon does all types of roles, including over-exposure and rape scenes, in films for money.
She should explain what sort of molestation been subjected to?How could Peethambara Kurup, a septuagenarian, molest a milfy film-star?
Kurup is a political victim like N.D. Tiwari in political game of sexual-abuse.

An actor's job is to do whatever the story calls for, which usually implies whatever will sell best. What is the purpose of a story or play if it is to be confined to the rules and norms of real life ? Real life requires avoiding conflict of interest among neighbors, but there cannot be any such problem on screen. So moral norms do not make sense in films and other shows, if the viewers are really mature enough to see it as only a show.
The very fact that it is on screen and not real life, is the good thing about films. Moreover films have to satisfy customers, not moral norms etc.
India is too backward for most people to be trusted to see explicit shows, but that is not a desirable condition. It is part of the general backwardness of Indian society.
Secondly as far as sexuality is concerned, the so called morality is largely imaginary. In rural places and among the very poor, who are more than 80 % of the people, there are hardly any moral issues about what is shown. These norms are imagined by a few for the many.

Facts in any case have to be verified even if a complaint is genuine. Law of false complaint comes into effect if no truth is found. One should not judge the facts, but only the handling of complaint by civil administration which seems always reluctant. It is not the civil servant's job or lookout to protect the reputation of those in power or their associates, and this is a problem in India.
There are the courts to decide on truth or falsehood, no need for civil servants to show eagerness to decide it in advance.
You may say booked for touching inappropriately, not molestation because molestation is very harsh word to be used against that old man. Even she did not realized it as she was happy till she left the venue. From the Cut and past show of the channels only she realised that she there are better use of the old man's act. She is the lady who oppened up her mother hood and delivery in front of a camera and cameramen. If she had opened her mouth all these unpleasantness could have avoided also the so called molestation.

Even if it is just a touch, a sexual crime against woman is any act of making her have a bad feeling of sexual nature, whether by talk or even by the offender showing his own sexual feelings in an unwanted way. Physical form of the act is not the only thing to consider. Basically if it is likely to give the woman a bad feeling about it then it is serious, if she is expected to deal with it as normal conversation and not be unhappy about it, then it is not an offense. Sexual relations of man and woman even if sudden are not a crime, but the test is whether it is voluntary. Forcing or even implying a sexual desire without her agreement, violates her privacy.
If it gives offense then it is an offense, not otherwise. A sexual crime can be purely subjective, because it is important to protect the feelings of women, not just her body. It is not like a physical crime of theft or murder, sexual crime is in the feelings it produces in the woman's mind.
