U are a great singer loved and respected by all music lovers all over the world. Please therefore be apolitical in your public life. U may please keep the choice of your political party to your person itself and do not make it public as your fans are from all the political parties and do not hurt their feelings.

Very sensible comment. But even retired Bollywood artistes are not above greed of money, fame and power.

Why this outrage?
by Bikash Biswas on Nov 02, 2013 10:09 AM  | Hide replies

When Tendulkar was made a RS member, no one denigrated him, but when Lataji endorses Modi, the heaven falls on earth! Anyone who supports Modi is branded as communal, anti-national and so on. More the congress support depletes, more aggressive they become- and more agressive they act, more their support reduces. Congress is entangled in this viscious circle.
Lataji has every right to endorse any one as you and me have.

Lataji- keep away from dirty politics
by Aditya Yadav on Nov 02, 2013 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

Every body knows NaMo is a symbol of anarchy, bundle of lies and hate politics.
His becoming a PM of India will be the worst day of Indian polity and our constitution.
A person like Lataji speaks on his support, shows how our celebrities have become sycophants for the petty gain.
My humble request to her - not to indulge herself in dirty politics.

Please Visit Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Pondicherry, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and even Maharashtra.

while discussing economic progress, you talk of tall claims and compare with China, US and Japan.

When it comes to law and order, education, social development, you conveniently change equation and compare with UP, Bihar etc.

Why the benchmark are UP and Bihar for one thing and US, Japan, China for others?

Come out of this "Koop Manduk" Maanasikta. Please open up your eyes and mind.

Mr Rakesh, we are not happy with Mr Akhilesh's performance either but happy to note that he tried his best to counter the antics and rioting culture of BJP in our state.
I have travelled many states ruled by different parties; our UP is second to none in most of the positive parameters.
Its only few nagging castes keep crying against UP Govt.
