what kind of development?
by satyamitra on May 27, 2013 01:06 AM

I'm surprised to listen to many of the participants in this discussion.
Development on what terms? I do not know much about Bihar, but because of being limelighted very regularly in media i thought of understanding the development process and progress in Bihar state, but, astonishingly the development again is political, because today in northern parts of our country most of the workers are from Bihar, and crime rate is very high in these states because of attitude of the people from bihar, i dont blame Mr.Nitish or any of the citizen from bihar, but, Mr.Nitish jee, it is not laying a road or railway track across the state, which can be treated as yardstick to determine the development standards, it is the attitude of the public with whom it is possible, so, kindly concentrate on empowering the mindset of people of the state rather than putting progress card before media.

Bihar and UP are underdeveloped states of India.
by subhash phadkar on May 26, 2013 10:58 AM

Even after 65 years after our Independence Bihar and UP have remained the two most underdeveloped states of India but most fertile in political field. The political muscle power did not allow any private investment in these states. No industrialist dared to set up an enterprise in these states.Noida in UP developed because Delhi became too crowded and did not support industrialisation.Lack of infrastructure and electification the two major resources for industrial development in Bihar sent most of the Biharis to go out of their state for higher education or employment.Nitish Kumar did well initially but lost his steam due to lack of funds for the development. He has succeeded in getting some financial help from the centre due to political reasons to show Modi in poor light.Poilitical leaders have left India underdeveloped.

development in bihar
by priyaranjan chowdhary on May 25, 2013 07:23 PM

something is changed still there are some need to be changed i have traveled lot of states during my office visit many times i heard (ae bahiya / i personally seen that if you say you r from bihar people hates you in first eye i don't know why )
we need to change this mentality our thought we have to accept that bihar is also a part of our country people of bihar were hard working guy.
govt. of bihar must increase literacy % and took such step when there is no need to go other state for work if they go no problem they must received respect. i think in todays there are 40% bihari are helper/loader/rikshaw driver/ driver / all D grade work. its really feel very bad when someone call you "e bahiya "" bihari hai" govt must mentality do such things when we compare with other states more education is required.
