It is because of Karnataka that the Old Monk`s comments are valid. BJP minus the fanaticism/communalism tilks (temple, Hindutva etc) is the only political party having educated, committed, ethical, fair and reasonable people who can and should rule India for atleast 20 - 25 years, so that India regains its former level of clean politics and an urge to serve India rather than their own selves.

This lesser EVIL of Congress, if allowed to continue ruling India, will leave nothing that can be called India. Our territory, our national wealth, our natural resources ... every thing, will be sold for their person gains as they have done so far. The mistake BJP did in Karnataka was that they did not sack Yeddy immediately after knowing his huge, huge corruption, his support of Ram Sene, his belligerence. If BJP had done that immediately, they would still control and rule Karnataka. If BJP abandons fully and truly their Hindutva and Temple agenda, and assure the country that they will not ever allow another Gujarat pogrom, this country will certainly vote for that party. Congress/UPA is bankrupt on morality and decency in politics.

Temple is not an issue. The main issue is Islamisation of this only abode of Hindus by some main stream and some regional selfish parties and its very selfish leaders. We all know who are these leaders. These "jonkes" know that Minority vote en-bloc to a party which is anti majority hence most of the time the party in power in centre and states always falling over head to appease them. This is worst type of communalism. Majority community is alwyas under false impression that they are the master of land and occupy the first and foremost position in the country and are easily get swayed by pseudo secular netas and parties. THe money from the Gulf and saudi Arabia is another incentive for these real enemies of the society to call names to majority or their popular leaders day in and day out. Fake human rightists start crying hoarse over killing of terrorists/naxalites only to demoralise the brave officers and jawans of the defence forces. These are all a very skillfully crafted strategy of all anti Indian forces using Indian leadres, regional parties, human rightists, civil right groups, and some self proclaimed messiahs of so called mazlooms to demoralise the whole country. How come the ex DGP of UP and 42 other cops are being framed in death of a terror "suspect" and CBI inquiry ordered by a Govt whose leaders was faking nationalhood on Chines Incursion and trying to eye wash the country by posing as a true nationlist leader?

The most lopsided logic if there ever was one ! Why not ask Rahul to try for becoming of chief of UN, and then say that that attempt shows that Congress/UPA will win 2014? Actually, Congres/UPA are so scared that they want to use every single hour of their rule (till they are kicked out in the elections)to suppress more scams surfacing, to prepare their defences in scams by tampering with evidence, to fool the gullible class of voters by using every single diversionary trick. The UPA can not expect to win 2014, because every voter knows the the PM is most dishonest, sham and probably a counterfeit economist, supported by non-genuine articles like Chiddu and Motek Singh, who brought India to its present level of poverty. No sir, India will certainly not vote for UPA any more. The oppositiion parties need to unite and rise up aggressively to force PM to wind up his govt, because the protege President won`t lift his little finger even if UPA govt. sells the entire India out of hand.

Did BJP not have more than enough money in Bengaluru and still lost Karnataka? Why? Not because the Congress money, but because of Yeddy`s corruption ! The very same fate will be that of the UPA. Money will not save Congress, from the anger of the nation that has been robbed through corruption.

May be a guess work
by sathyam guda on May 21, 2013 03:06 PM  | Hide replies

By and large these periodical polls are misleading and more often prove wrong. The opinion polls on the eve of elections and exit polls are likely to prove correct as the past trends show. Thus it may not be a good news for either BJP or NDA. BJP has to improve its tally by about 90 MP seats. Where from it will happen. First, BJP has to retain all the seats it holding as on date and gain 90 more seats to improve. The only scope is UP. May be one or two gains in Rajasthan. Individually, NDA allies or parties like BJD or JD (U) may gain. But it will not help NDA or BJP. Shivsana is a doubtful case and it may spoil BJP chances in Maharashtra. South, North east and East also gives a blank to BJP or NDA. In UP it will be a 4 cornered contest and it may help Congress and not BJP. In Maharashtra also BJP has less scope. SO where from BJP can get about 90 MP seats unless there will be a en-masse vote for BJP? This is what the strength of Congress and inspiration for People like Pawars, Lalu's, Naveen Patnaiks etc.

BJP must cultivate Raj Thakre in Maharshtra, Jagan Redy in Andhra, Jaya in TN and even win back Yeddurappa in Karnata aprt from its strategis positions in Hindi/Cow belt. Even Mamata vcan fall in line once she knoew that NDA may improve its tally. Udhav's only neck in pain is Maha. Nav Nir. Sena of Raj and Raj likes Mod. But Udhav is no Bala saheb (even not 50% of his late father). Hence BJP can make for the loss of arrogant people like Udahv and even Nitish kumar. I also believe that if BJP can win 40 setas in Karnataka minus Yeddurappa, the future is still bright for the saffron party. Karantak people have only given a lesson to BJP not totally discrded it. May be in 2014 they will show their maturty and defeat all corrupt leaders in all parties. (is BJP listening?)

BJP may be able to overcome Nitish in Bihar but in AP, BJP can not overcome Jagan or TRS or Cong. Please note inspite of Telangana wave telangana people bow to either TRS or Jagan and never allow BJP. The reasons for such an untouchable attitude of Telanagana people is not known to any one. Next to UP state Maharashtra is a critical state and if Maharashtra voters look for a positive change and Vote NDA/BJP overhelmingly and if UP voters mature and vote BJP then the scope for BJP making at least 70 additional MP (seats) wins. Please every body note; Any vote to any party be it YSRCP, BJD, JD (U), JD(S), NCP, DMK or even Left etc is a direct vote to Congress or UPA (Karnataka is a speculative case - Cong just won the state so in all likely hood congress will hold on to it). So the summary is UP and Mharashtra and Bihar will make or break prospects of BJP that is NDA winning 2014.

Right. Karnataka people hated the Yeddy corruption, tolerated by BJP chiefs,to lsuch an extent that they viciously kicked out the BJP State govt. It was their burning anger against the Yeddycorruption and not any love or regard for the Congress. While doing this, they also hoped that the Congress will learn from this anger and rule honestly. Incidentally, there is nothing for Yeddy to feel as if he did something great. Actually, he himself is washed out and may not be heard of for next 15 years. Yeddy did create a nauseating scenario about BJP as a national party, who clearly succumbed to the money power of Yeddy and Reddy in Bengaluru. That was a mistake.

....eventually poll day is the day for which UPA siphoned-off and accumulated masses money so that election results are in their favor nonetheless! Indian educated middle-class have no say in polls, they just exercise their rights. It is eventually the super-poor who is so past-forgetful and the super-rich who is so future-careless that brings UPA into power time and again.
