It is time Sanju Baba grew up and became a man. Like a man, let him accept his mistakes, serve his sentence and come out a wiser & sober person.

The supreme court did the right by rejecting his review plea. He should wash off his sin by suffering. This shall be lesson for other people who take the laws of for granted under the impression that the escape from conviction by manipulating the concerned insistutes.

What about thousands of people having unlicenced arms in the country.

he cannot be freed, just because others have unlicensed arms.

Just because Dawood & Hafiz are roaming free we cannot release all other terrorists from our jail. Those who are caught must be punished.

Use your brains

TADA was removed in his case, if TADA remains-everyone guilty is to be hanged.

That does not mean that he goes unpunished! Whenever the common man commits some offense, he can't say "what about this person and that person"!!! Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced, let him serve out his sentence. He committed a grave blunder, let him pay for it! No one somehow seems to sya anything about the suffering of the victim's families that they had to endure for 20 years!! Everyone keeps saying "Sanjay Dutt is a good man"! Utter nonesense. We are a hero-worshipping country, subservient and will always be!

Reprieve on TADA was most certainly a legal favour to Sanjay. It is always possible for lawyers with gift of the gab to use impressive semantics their own established reputations etc. to soften the punishment. But that does not happen in all cases because all cannot afford the lawyers` fees. That is an anomaly. There is a difference between a "sentence" and "an appropriate sentence" and in Sanjay`s case, the sentence seems to be lighter.

Suffering of families for 20 years is clearly not true in this case. Sanjay made movies, enjoyed life, family includes Congress MP and his father was a Congress Minister at the Centre. Where is the suffering part?

Right ! Punish the govt., the minister(home), the police because it is they who let this happen. The time of accountability is coming.

Absolutely right. All such high profile personalities that are convicted of criminal offences, should be punished without giving any special, illogical, extraneous concessions. Because that does not happen in most cases, there is increased crime in the country. Supreme Court decision deserves sincere appreciation.

He already finished jail for 18 months, under high mental agony, we need legal reforms to suit todays requirement. Such personalities are to be heavily fined instead of jail.

A fine will open the way for increased crimes by the elite. No, they need to be punished severely to restore full faith in our judiciary. As it is, Sanjay ought to have been punished under TADA, and by letting him out of that, there is a huge favour done to him.
