China also knows it can't do the same like it does with Pakistan. When China is failing even in Pakistan. China has no other alternative other than working with India. If China thinks Srilanka as a pressure point against India. India has Chinas Jugular and it would be Chinas and Srilankas death knell. Even if Srilanka wants to go against India; China wont do it against India.

This MM singh is the worst PM we had so far,much worse than dev gowda&chandra shekahr, and worse he is a robot& cannot use his brain if he has any!are his qualifications real or manufactured in india only???what a shame! when advaniji said PM sing is a weak PM, evrybody in media and intellectuals acting as cheer leaders of looters&agents ridiculed advani, now the whole nation of one billion people has been ridiculed for nearly 9 years! what a shame!
India's foreign policy is very poor. we have strong issues with Pakisthan, Bangladesh, China and SriLanka. The Govt under Manmohan does not have good relations with Non Congress CMs in India. How we can expect him to improve our relations with neighbour.
The commenwealth games scheduled in srilanka is most likely to be boycotted by many countries.May be even it is going to be shifted out of srilanka. Congrats to all tamils worldwide for their tireless effort in peeling off the mask of the chaunistic sinhalese regime

Who cares? LTTE's mask has been already torned. No body calls LTTE saint. It is LTTE & people like you have ruined fate of Lankan tamilians. You worldwide guys sits somewhere in safe place & make current lankan tamilian's life more miserable. During war poor tamilians got killed first. Try to be sensible about your actions.
Many Indians posting here does not know history and think srilankan Tamils are all migrants and asking separate country in a foriegn land. The Tamils in nort and eastern part of Srilanka are Natives of the land and living there from pre-historic times. They demand equal rights in their mother land. There are some tamils who brought by British to work in tea plantations and they live in south srilanka.
why you want the foriegn policy based out of fear for China? Do you want to sacrifice Tamils for your imaginary economical gains you will make from Srilanka? .When LTTE was there, there was no foreign powers entered in Lanka. Srilankan Tamils always considered India as their second Home and surrendering them for your fear is ridiculous.
India can't do anything it doesn't have anything to offer that china has given. India is being pipped by China everywhere in the world like South America,the arctic,Africa,south Asia, and South East Asia
but its farce to believe India will be able to please Sri Lanka using appeasement policies and keep it away from China. Nobody would trust a gutless nation like INDIA be it Maldives or Sri Lanka in long term.
