because media always follows the winner. If he becomes winner tommorrow see how they will totally reverse their opinions on him. Same happened with Sonia too
During 1990, Manmohan Singh sold Indian Gold reserve to prevent India from debt default...then he had to sell public sectors, lands, other public assets and devaluation of Indian rupees to stop bankruptcy..All these because CON party along with communist party were looting public money and siphoning it to Swiss banks...I don't need to tell what kind of people support such parties....all of them have loyally to masters in Vatican and Saudi...India breaking away is part of the game...Now same CON parties have started borrowing money at astronomical amount that debt is going to make India bankrupt again but this time there is nothing to sell..CON men will move to their master counteries in west and rest crores of dumb Indian will have Katoraa in their hands....

Don't just blame the con unfortunately the people have also become conning type
Some of Rajiv Gandhi's achievements are the Srilankan Problem, the Babri Masjid Problem and the rising of terror in J & K. This all problem took a turn during his time
