How can we say this unless we give Rahul an opportunity.
He is a young guy with fresh ideas. He is connecting with people and encouraging youth.
He want to bring in fresh ideas also. He want to try new things. Its good for all of us. At some stage of life our old mindset, traditional practise, existing corruption, illitracy is not letting our nation, our society to grow.
Why not we create a medium, connect with him and pass our voice, share our ideas to change our India to a better India, a prosper India.
If not Rahul then whom should we consider ? Is our same old netas with same old mentality and practise? What better choice we have?
I think we all are fed up with existing state of corruption, safety measures, laws, crime and health.
Our educated youth has that spirit and intelligence to shape India into the way we wanted.
However, with this existing corruption , blame game etc. our educated youth is not coming forward.
Our good brains are doing wonders in other fields, however why those guys are not joining politics.
We need fresh mindset, our youth to connect, replace old netas and contribute towards nation building.

enough with this gandhi-nehru family. There are 50% of the youth are there. why u r seeing only this young boy. for many years their family loots, and we ppl see . In the latest chooper deal scam, the mediator mentioned the family was given 200cr. every Indian knows what does it mean by family. Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi were masterminds behind 1984 sikh riots, srilankan tamilians mass killing. And u r still supporting these ppl?

"How can we say this unless we give Rahul an opportunity." The post of Prime minister is not for finding out the skillset of one person. Rahul gandhi needs to have achieved something(there is no proof of this to have happened eg: UP elections, Congress youth elections, etc.) to be even considered for such an important post. The only reason and achievement he has against his name is Great Grandson/Grandson/Son of XXX Nehru/Gandhi. The only youth leaders in congress visible at the government level are all products of dynasty(Scindia, deora, etc.). We need youth for sure but a person who has proven things and not a person who has not produced a single good result till date.
Immediatelyt he has to be black listed by Rediff to prove that they are not hand in gloves wtih BJP adn RSS Chadis. Rahul ji has great vision for India. as i said earlier he is studing things in mirco level under his abled leadership we will be ahead of USA and China

you cant face the truth Mr Ghaghraa
other than being relatives of Indra Gandhi, these 2 gandhis have no other capability of their own. We better dump them as quickly as we can to save the country
Plz talk about solution and not problem if somebody have solution to change system so that Young gen. living in India will not eager to go foreign countries in search of ethics, safety & good life style.

Santosh ji, Solution will come if you put people who have some vision and desire to do something. The writer point is that rahul is a useless leader... so first step- stay away from him/keep him away from making the decision for the country.
First about Mr Zareer Masani & his book on Lord Maculey- I think he is trying to planely promote his book..
Secondly- larger debate about Maculey's contribution to India etc, readers are requested to Google Search & read entire Blog debate"Lord macauley speech on Indian education"..

Copy & past from above rediff article_"There is a big shortage of qualified English teachers in India, whereas the Chinese and Japanese are putting huge resources in training English teachers."unquote. Above comment by Mr Masani is true..& this may effect BPO employment in immediate run..In long run,we need good Teachers for all subjects, not only for English..
There were people with vision for India some decades ago but now there is no visionary who have vision for India. Everybody have vision for self and family. The author cannot list out name of any person who has vision for India. Today vision and mision of people are to grow self and family and not country.
Re: No visionaries....

The only man who talked about Vision and the future was Dr Abdul Kalam who also encouraged the children to dream and achieve something for the country. Unfortunately the Congress was not comfortable with him and all his talk and therefore Sonia sent him home and brought the lacklustre Pratibha Patil.Rahul started off saying that he is reading Jawaharlal Nehru's "Discovery of India" to understand India. After reading a few pages he must not have understood anything and gave it up and jumped into politics directly in UP,etc. The result is there for all to see.Now he will have to face formidable Modi and this must be sending shivers down his spine.
