Jihadis can not survive without support from community
Before it is too late, India should take over this troublesome territorry to nip the trouble in the bud. Indian Govt (UPA-1) under pressure from alliance partner CPM allowed dethroning of King of Nepal to falicitate marxist Govt, supported by China. How long India will remain mute spectator to happenings around our borders? Till we are totally encircled? Wake up now and act.

the jehadi problem is now a global phenomena,our govt should have nipped this problem in the bud the very day it was noticed that jehadi activities are in full swing in Maldives , the other danger which the writer overlooked is the presence of chinese in this area and the friendly relations which were building between china and Maldives, because Maldives can help china make a strategic position against india by permitting them to use their ports near the bay of bengal

i agree with apurva, mauritius is a tax heaven from where dirty money flows to indian stock markets for money launderring, if this activities go unchecked then very soon mauritius can be another safe heaven for jehadi activities
