if the congress adopts a totally sincere and honest policy, and corruption free plus not exploiting the social tensions to it's asdvantage, many of the problems would have been solved a long time back! but it does not and that provides fuel for contining the conflicts! that it is not development/peace oriented was known since the days of Pundit Nehru who told that minority communalism is tolerable and dismissed the 1 st EMS Naboodripad government of Kerala getting halp from religious and caste organisations and fundamentalists!

Kerala has the unique position of having the first duly elected "CommyGovt In The World" as in other parts of the world,Communism was imposed at Gun Point. But Pt Nehru did not tolerate it and dismissed it.But in the election held after 6 months, the Commies under EMS came back to power again.

the marxist govt. was a rational, scientific and a secular govt. it's leaders were least corrupt or un corruptible1! these conditions were not to the liking religious leaders/ caste leaders and fuedal lords of the day!

Nehru could not understand that the marxist economy cannot survive over a long time! time had proved it! but his stoking the communal feeling and encouraging them had done the country immense damage! he simoply toed the USA's line! to win what!!

it is a baffle to me!

Pt Neheru was the one who allowed it to come in the first place. You need to give him the credit for that too. Yes, the govt. was dismissed, but the left front govt. did not either help its case. There were instances of firing on unarmed protesters against the govt.

India is uniquely placed for its tolerance at every level of life. The country taught the communists to count votes. :)

if the communists needed permission to come to power from Nehru after winning the election, the system is not democracy!

as you overlooked me and did not give me post retirement plum post, so I will stand before your home and shout at you with frustration.

All conflict resolution needs some aspect of force and a large aspect of redevelopment. So, how is Dr. Singh so wrong about it, is just out of my mind?

The seven sisters states in North-east, which shares 96% of its border with not so friendly foreign countries and connected to India trough a narrow pass called chicken's neck, has to present a problem as "COMPLEX" as the PM suggests. So, what is the wrong the PM did commit in his speech?

The writer is just too frustrated and want something to fall in his lap given any regime change happens in the next election.
