Last nine years report card of economist MMS govt.
by Ramesh Chauhan on Jun 14, 2013 03:06 PM  | Hide replies

is a total failure for the country and its people.

• Corruption at all time high.
• Inflation at all time high.
• Unemployment at all time high.
• Fiscal deficit at all time high.
• Current account deficit at all time high.
• India’s share in global trade just one tenth of China.
• Poverty at all time high.
• India among top 15 hunger nation in the world in Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2012.
• Crime against women at all time high
&
• Indian currency at all time low.
• Peoples trust in the Govt at all time low.

It is a surprise that despite all these failing some people are rooting for congress,
it is only because Congress has projected itself as a protector of minorities..

all that is said about mms may have a grain of truth.BUT I WONDER, DO ARTICLES LIKE YOURS FIND ANY GOOD IN ANYBODY? IS THERE ANY GOOD DECENT ALTERNATIVE? IF SOMEONE COMES WITH THE AGENDA OF PULLING DOWN THE CONGRESS AS THE SUPREME AIM OF THEIR LIFE, WHERE ARE WE GOING AS A NATION? ANYBODY WITH A CONSTRUCTIVE VISION FOR THE PEOPLE OF INDIA. MAY BE CONGRESS NEEDS A CHANGE. A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE HAS TO EMERGE. BUT WHO? OUR NATIONAL MOTTO SEEMS TO BE (FOR ALL PARTIES) FIND FAULT AND PULL DOWN...ALL OF US NEED TO DO PENANCE TO PURIFY ALL OUR LEADERS AND PURIFY OURSELVES PT

UPA must go
by Pankaj Madan on Jun 14, 2013 01:21 PM

I doubt whether Congress fought for India's freedom. If they did they would not govern like this. UPA must quit and immediately call elections.

Armchair critics
by Deepak M on Jun 14, 2013 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

I wish the writer had indulged in such scathing criticism of the Prime Minister and the Government while he was in service as a Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau. We would have appreciated positive action by him in providing a solution to the problem rather than read through an essay which is primarily meant to exhibit his flowery use of the English language. I would rate him as just another example of an armchair critic.

Ravi has done the writing that takes courage of conviction. Others have written galore but the culprits were noot moved or shamed or resigned. But, yes, I do feel that writing such great, exhaustice story actually honours this total failure of a PM Dr. (Debtor)MMS. Unfortunately, this country does not come together to sack him and his govt.because of the faulty and irrelevant Constitution.

One has to agree with this view.We rush to criticized easily.Like the spectators in the stadium watching cricket, we freely comment on the bowling, batting, fielding & even the referees, Umpires& also the Commentators & even the BCCI. Every one seems to be able to give expert comments. So also, heavily influenced by our TV media, people are pouring out criticism & even scorn on our PM.The PM cannot be expected to join Arnab Goswami or Sardesai or Barka Dutt to defend his action or " performance"There needs to be a sense of propriety & restraint before passing irrelevant remarks upon the Hon'ble PM & his council of Ministers. In no other era have so many Ministers lost their jobs or faced music as under the present PM.Do people not have eyes to see this.

While in service all he could was to resign or obey political masters. At least he has guts to speak now unlike others who still in hopes of post retirement postings and benefits keep mum all their life remaining slaves till their death.

Dear Readers, Our PM is a figurehead quite literally and things r likely to remain the same unless there is a revolt within the party resulting in the emergence of a dynamic leader.

How about moving the judiciary to deny any post-retirement benefits to the PM and other ministers as well, because of the damage and losses caused by them?

Congress Vote bank drama Vs Rest of the tax payers ....
by chandu on Jun 14, 2013 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

Total food grains produced in this country will be 225 to 230 Million Ton.By implement this food security bill we might need extra 70 - 80 million tons more.So result will be less production and Inflation's.In short we have to shed more money as tax and pay more for present food items. How can this be soina's dream project ? better option left is ......let her not dream like this to make our life miserable.

I think only Good Growth in Population is possible by UPA. For Good Governance and Free of Corruption you have to look somebody else not UPA, Mr. AB.
