No resignation but withdraw support to state and centre govt.
by National Highway on Jul 30, 2013 01:57 PM  | Hide replies

I understood that resignation will have no impact of the centre's decision. Instead MP and MLAs, who support unitedAP, should withdraw support to the government in state and at the centre.

First you read Telangana history and injustices done since 1956. If no information is available, go to Telangana Intellectuals and know more about Telangana and its famine position in Palamuru, Adilabad, Medak, Karimnagar

you are worried bout history it was all developed by money of other areas being a capital city.(most of area is now maharastra karnataka which was Nizam kingdom when hyderabd was developed)
no doubt Hyderabab is in telegana. do u know what is total income of telegana without hyderabad. telgana movement rised because Chendrabau naidu developed Hyderabad international level.now some political leaders want to get benfit out of it.
How your intellectuals forgot hyderabad was created with other money & re developed by Andhra& Rayalseema money(because in 1956 Andra & rayalseema is having more income then telegana.

Resolution in State Assembly not required
by palanki narayana on Jul 30, 2013 01:50 PM

It is clear from Rediff posts about Chattisgarh etc that it is not necessary for a state assembly resolution to carve out a new state. It is within the powers of Centre.

The creation of the new states is to meet the aspirations of the local people. Why leave out Tamil Nadu and Kerala - Kerala can be divided into into Cochin and Tiruvanathapuram and Tamil Nadu into Chlamandalam and Pallavanadu. That will be only fair.

Demand for separate state has not started with Telangana and will not end with Telangana. Moreover Telangana is not a demand of Separate State but it is Demerger of state

Who said it would be demerger. It is irony that you don't have basic knowledge about telangana and supporting it. There was Hyd state, which had 16 districts (8 telugu [telangana], 5 marathi and 3 kannada). If the demand is for Hyd state, then you are right to say it is demerger but not a new state. If the demand is for telangana, then it is a new state because it never existed unlike Andhra state.

you need to see the financial feasibility and administrative power of the government.
if all these are given then we may have to borrow HEAVIY AND ALSO PAY HEAVY TAXES for maintaining them.
best is to see the financial viability and include another tier called provinces tier under states and keep the aspirations accordingly
