It should be declared as a Union Territory under the clutches of Centre Government - Let AP and Telegana will have their on captial as per their taste.
Has any govt at centre ever studied the impact of creating separate state on the overall standard of life of its people and economy of these states vis a vis its parent state.
In my opinion separate states creates opportunities for political class in the form of CM, Dy CM, Ministers and also separate corpus to loot at their whims and fancy.
Lets take example of Bihar and Jharkhand, now the ministry is almost double than the original Bihar state and what about the progress of Jharkhand, still invokes hung assembly and mid term polls, extremism etc.
The Congress party is making plans for another statement issued on December 9th of 2009
With one instalment of Sarpanch Elections pending on 31st (tomorrow), the Congress party is planning to gain more seats in Telangana by making a declaration today. Dont worry about Seemandhra,the YSR Party is a pocket party to the Congress party which will be merged after Elections. Worst tactics by Congress...as always

BJP during 2009 election declared that T state will be created within 100 days of forming Govt. and TDP has supported in writing for seaparte T,, now why r u crying for congress ??????

My dear friendz, BJP has no strength in AP except few MP seats and MLA seats in TG. They are not in power, they can say anything.

your view is most welcome. it was in dark all these days. it is simply a brilliant idea.
By keeping Hyderabad as common capital for five years, congress is systematically sowing the seed of hatred permanently between these two states. Even after the period of five years who want to loose this capital city? has any body thought of it. But congress has habit of creating division within the citizens of the country.
Same had happened after partition when the issue of J&K Should have been settled with force. But Nehru (Rangeela) was in haste to become prime minister and in the process the country has burnt its face in the form of Kashmir and it is still burning.
Congress once again repeated the same mistake in 1972, thru Shimla agreeemnt, where it had an opportunity to cull this menace once for all.
Congress on the other hand is still enjoying the power by divide and rule policy which they inherited from British and we as a foolish citizens making it happen time and again.
are there any intellectuals in TG to discuss the realities !! The TG demand is not a need of common PPL.. It is the need of PPL burning with jealous, inferiority complex and self pity...

All intellectuals in AP shall shut their mouth....I have seen higly qualified people from TG saying their water problems will be solved by separating Telangana ......
where as it is IRWD act that decides the water distribution and not the new state by iteself ....
not even one single leader from telangana has come out with a plan on this .....

a decision at last....let them be given off what they wanted!! this telangana agitation has stalled the progress of AP...n brand AP has taken a heavy beating !! ... let them go off... we(seemandhra) can develop at a much higher rate , as there is no burden of carrying a non-productive region (telangana) on the back...!! having a long coastline ...our future is positive ..not like a landlocked telangana ...whose future is bleak...keeping in mind the naxalite activities n its sympathizers , n lack of education n its border with chattisgarh !!! all above this...having a leader like KCR... its a downward spiral n a bleak future !!

We are slowly and surely going back to our old royal states numbering about 1000 governed by Maharajas,Nawabs,Sardars and finally a chineas trading co.will come to this country and what East India co.did would do to India and the History gets repeated.
Telangana State has great history and culture since Kakatiya regime. We have separate accent in language, and our festivals and deities are different than that of other regions. Our lands have been plundered, our jobs were grabbed treacherously, and our forest land was deforested by Seemandhra contractors. Now, after 57 years, our dream is comes true, and the sacrifices of our Telangana martyrs is going to be fruitful. Our Telangana is not for KCR, KTR or KK. It is for our future Telangana youth

you yourself dont speak in your accent, your lands have not been plundered it is you who have sold them for your livelihood, if deforestation was done what were your leaders doing, sleeping. i would only accept one thing the last line if the state of telangana is for the future telangana youth not kcr, ktr (do you think this is possible)

rightly said..Telengana is a very old issue high time its sorted out..when the great British went many lamented,wailed wrote so many logical logic's stating India was doomed blah blah..but it was all proven wrong...Telengana can shine and the people of Telengana regain their historical glory.

Telangana is derived from the word "Trilinga" meaning sorrounded by three Lingas .. Srisalam, Srikalahasti and Bhimesawaram (which forms majority of so called seema andhra). Telanga and Telugu are derived from the same roots ....Technically it is impossible to demark what is telangana and what is Andhra ....

Kakatiya empire was extended much beyond present telagana, upto Kanchipuram in T nadu. the 10 districts are never seperate state. They are part of Hydearabad state, ruled by Nizam, including Bidar, bijapur, raichur in present karnataka, Aurangabad etc in present Maharastra. Which of them you want? Kakatiya empire or Nizam's state?

Please stop harping about history. I can only laugh at your stupidity. When would you all learn that dividing nation only benefits the politicians in our country, who are basically unscrupulous thieves and would even sell their own parents for their own benefit. Do you really believe that plundering of your place will go away by dividing your state? Wishful thinking! With your kind of mindset and the great “Divide and rule” policy inherited and used by great Nehru-Gandhi dynasty our great nation is doomed to evaporate.

i totally fail to understand as to how just by changing the name of the state, will change the fortunes. Again you will have these same bunch of parties/leaders who are in any case there all these years. how jobs will be created?? are you taking about governement jobs in the capital??? i vud say that atleast we the educated class should not be having the impression that the present politicians will change our fate?

It is so simple funda. If you are in the group and if whole group is working, you also need to work to survive and be par with them. If you have your own group and world, you do not need to work and compete for the best. you can eat, drink, sleep etc.. and can live on your way. That is what happening in Chattisgarh & Jarkhand. That is the reason you guys want separate state.
