I think there is tendency to love 'one's baby' even if it is really naughty on k0mmunity basis.There is a need to be clear and unconditional condemnation of messengers of hate and not just my babe is better than yours. Togadia,Modi,Adityanath,Sadhvi,Raj.thakre all fall in the category of )waisi and need outright condemnation.Hate_mongers have only destination-jail.You cannot iconise one and dem0nise another as per your convenience

Shan-why is it that we have to be COMPETITIVE in combating communal or hate mongering leaders. If the police arrest a "H1ndu" rioter, should they also arrest a "Mus1im" rioter to maintain competitive balance. Right now the focus is on the rantings & hate speech made by Akbaruddin Owaisi and his MIM goons who cheered him on and indulged in violence.
If & when Togadia bares his fangs or the Sadhvi wakes up again, we will crosss the bridge when we come to it.
And I don't include Modi or Raj Tackeray as "Communal" leaders.

You are right,we will cross the bridge when we come to it but I saw some people justifying one againt the other. Modi's role in riots is well known and his speeches are equally directed against a specificcommunity(pl recall 'hum 5,hamare25 just for 1 example).Any sensitisation based on partisan isKommunal and so is Raj.Raj has been breaking the society and the nation on sentimental issues and taking law into his hands and still going scot free because of "public pressure'.I really appreciate your justifying guts to keep these two off the hook

Mr. Opinion theses so called leaders are knowing that don't have such threat from M00slems as police is soley with majority community and killing innocents, just conclude Dhulya's example where all killed are M00slems!

The police shot rioters and those who were on the street got killed. Do the police now have to kill an equal number of "H1ndu " rioters to prove that we are living in a secure country?

"H1ndu" rioters died in police action in Gujrat. Maya Kodnani, Babu Bajrangi & umpteen others are serving sentences after convictions in Naroda Patiya, Sardarpura & Best Bakery cases!

"IF" You are against "ALL" such people, then You have a moral right to speak. But IF You ever gave national status and coverage to even ONE of them - be it Togadia or Bal Thackeray - then You are selectively targeting ONLY 1 Muslim Community and are having double standards. Also, it seems You have NOT heard Togadia and the latest rant about converting Hyderabad into Ayodhya and all his other provocative speeches. And with Your other logic even Bal Thackeray was never a MLA or MP but he was virtually running a government when his party was in power. So, Please! Lets have some courage to look into our own eyes when we stand in front of the mirror and ask ourselves if we are doing the right thing. IF Akbaruddin is Neither the First One - and Nor the ONLY one, then why selectively Target him only because IT suits the government in power at this point of time as he was creating other problems for them. This is clear misuse and abuse of Power. With this attitude, Akbar will ONLY become more and more powerful and maybe, even bigger than Bal Thackeray.
