Very useful analysis of the prevailing tense situation, mixed with introspective and experience-based discussion. The governance needs to think and act, but rather quickly so as to minimise further loss to human resource and self-respect. The article is really useful piece.
There is a very big anti-Pak sentiment in the US Government, so the best course of action is to make it an India-US-Pak trilateral peace talks, where if Pak breaks any treaty, then US and India can have a joint incursion into Pakistan to flush out terrorists. Simultaneously, the Civil Society of India and Pakistan must continue their positive "Aman Ki Asha" interactions. Secular Pakistanis should not be punished due to mischief of Pak Military. I also advise the saff parivaar that if you become totally jingoistic with Pakistan, then Pakistani terrorists punish us by hurting Pak Hindoos. No Conscientious Indian with a Human Soul will want innocent Pak Hindoos to die or suffer just because BJP is sick of losing to Congress in every national level election. Just imagine, I am an Indian Muslim and I worry for the Pak Hindoos, but I do not see even one tear, not even a false tear for the atrocities perpetrated on Pak Minorities by either media or the Indian establishment. So let us keep the Civil Society peace efforts going.
Sunil questioned the need for playing Pak in the aftermath of 2008 and Kasab. Now look what they do... getting away with a on-field victory and then rubbing salt in our wounds. Ppl nvr lrn.
