We thought it is only showed in the movies. MOvies show in depth, but things are visible on the surface level here. Unless, the politicians change their mindset, the people will follow like herds and to the extremes and the day is not far when it will explode to even greater proportions. I think we are in need of Arab type discipline and rules, because we have become more bent towards tamasic attitudes rather than seeing devotion in work.

Is calling a woman graceful or beautiful an insult??? I am flabbergasted at the hypocrisy of people!

But the lady in question is not there as a normal woman. She was there on the stage as a DM. There is some decency expected in a public address by a minister. If the DM herself was not offended and taken the remark in the stride, it should'nt be a problem.
Justifying this incident is like calling a person with one leg a 'langda' and justifying that he is a langda and what is wrong in it.
Many such fake or genuine cases will be booked and career of many youths will be spoiled by present law giving protection to women. Today in Sharda Act(dowry) majority of cases are fake and to exploit boy side only.
both are beautiful ladies if u google them.. but commenting on ur personal thoughts about someone on public platform is completely wrong .. he may have many ideas and thoughts abt them.. but no right to express them in media.. the least he can do is keep quiet
Is there no limit to being "POLITICALLY CORRECT"? There is nothing objectionable or insulting in the minister's comment. The DM who would a IAS level officer would know how to handle the situation and would have accepted the compliment gracefully & moved on. So why are others breathing fire?
whats wrong in praising someone's beauty...whats wrong with us? i dont thnk this man has done anything wrong...so many ppl must be feeling the same watching her..he has only spkn on behalf of them....grow up India!
New Delhi: In order to tighten noose around an IAS officer K Dhanalakshmi Gowda of Uttar Pradesh cadre serving as Director in the Ministry of Social Justice, who is allegedly possessing assets more than her known source of income, CBI on Saturday raided her bases in Delhi and Bangalore.
Earlier her name was associated with Tronica City scam of UPSIDC, but no investigation could be done. CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra said, “An IAS officer from 2000 batch K Dhanalakshmi Gowda is found to have Rs 3.15 crore of assets more than her income. Although this is on her mother’s name, the mother doesn’t have any source of income hence it will be considered her only.
