New Delhi: In order to tighten noose around an IAS officer K Dhanalakshmi Gowda of Uttar Pradesh cadre serving as Director in the Ministry of Social Justice, who is allegedly possessing assets more than her known source of income, CBI on Saturday raided her bases in Delhi and Bangalore.
Earlier her name was associated with Tronica City scam of UPSIDC, but no investigation could be done. CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra said, “An IAS officer from 2000 batch K Dhanalakshmi Gowda is found to have Rs 3.15 crore of assets more than her income. Although this is on her mother’s name, the mother doesn’t have any source of income hence it will be considered her only.

Minimum qualification to be set for one becoming a minister otherwise these kind of controversy will be there. If we take total ministers in the country there could be around 30-40% ministers lack educational qualification required for a minister.
