Fairly Candid

The interview of Mr. R.K. Raghavan is fairly candid. But I do not agree when he says ' There is basically no complaint about quality of the CBI's work'. My personal experience has been otherwise. The superior officer blindly signs whatever report is prepared by the junior officer. It may be due to heavy work load and may be one reason why the success rate conviction cases investigated by CBI is very low. I also have a feeling some senior police officers use CBI to settle scores using CBI.

Is there anything worth publishing or reading in the whole article?
Being an ex-CBI chief, he has done what he is best expected to do - leave everything unsaid.

CBI has become a framing agency like Police instead of bringing truth before public, as such lost its shine.

Sir, you know, the name CBI stands changed as Congress Bureau of Investigation. Naturally all the Investigations would be on that basis only.

What Mr Nair said is correct. CBI try to keep the ruling party happy for their survival and that is why they are dancing to the tune of the present ruling party i.e. Congress.
