Prime Minister's Speech not accurate
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Aug 16, 2013 06:26 AM  | Hide replies

The speech by the prime minister Dr. Man Mohan Singh on India's Independence Day had good content but also had a few lies and inaccuracies. After Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, the next competent prime minister was Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Dr. Singh extolled the virtues of incompetent leaders of the Congress era, including Mrs. Indra Gandhi and Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, who did very little for national progress. The next good Congress prime minister was Dr. Singh himself. We should pray that he be not replaced by Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the epitome of incompetence and inefficiency.

90% of the schemes, awards, stadiums, airports etc. etc. have been named after Nehru,Rajiv Gandhi & Indira Gandhi. It appears that only these three persons have worked for the nation & people like Shastry,Morarji Desai,Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel, Bajpayee, Narasingharao are all useless people.

PM IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING
by KRISHNAMURTHY V on Aug 15, 2013 09:22 PM

At least now our PM has started a process of learning. He has started copying Modi in saying " brothers and sisters" and by asking the audience to repeat some slogans. In the second case though he was careful enough to ask the children, lest the elders, especially the Congressmen and his ministers around do not do his bidding.

A PROSPEROUS INDIA !!!!!
by KRISHNAMURTHY V on Aug 15, 2013 09:18 PM

A prosperous India !!!! Our PM Dr.MMS still dreams of a prosperous India, after all the loot to the tune of thousands of crores in 2G SCAM, CWC SCAM, COAL SCAM, MINING SCAM and what not. It requires a lot of courage to keep repeating these things again and again without even thinking that the people around are not fools.

Hypocrisy
by Ajai Jacob on Aug 15, 2013 05:18 PM  | Hide replies

PM says 'the day is not far off when India will be rid of poverty, hunger, disease and ignorance' .

This has been said since the past 50 years . But it has not happened.

China has already got rid of poverty, hunger, disease and ignorance . When will India do it ?
Maybe after 150 years .

SEe the difference.

There are several major differences between Chinese and Indian leaders.

One of them is that while the Chinese leaders, despite their country's poverty stricken population being down to just 13 % at a PPP equivalent income of 2 USD per day per capita, say that poverty is still a major problem and that major measures are still needed to remove it, Indian leaders (Congress and BJP included) keep saying that poverty is nearly eliminated despite the fact that more than 85 % of Indians are having less than the PPP equivalent of 2 USD income per day!!

PM address to Nationals
by RamMani on Aug 15, 2013 03:42 PM

I went through the speech of PM delivered from Red Fort of India. Nothing New except garlanding his party right from Indira Ji to Rajiv Gandhi including Narsimharao . Undoubtedly no match of Indira and Rajiv ji. The Narsimharao has started the tactics of saving Government by any means .Certainly this practice planted the havoc tree of alliance Government based on creed, cast, power enticement and so called secularism . Now days political parties are leaving no stone unturned to catch the means of power by any means .The address is traditional and full of absolute denial of other parties Governance whether might be more better than this Government in any specific field. The PM,President, speaker likewise in states also should have no concern with activities of party organization but in present-scenario the ruler and party office bearer are same ie. the interest of political parties always reflect in all the project, schemes whether made for good governance or public welfare .No strategy is made out to encourage the moral binding of citizens and high up their ethical values ultimately which will make a good and strong India .Hope people will awaken to elect a National Man to represent themselves in forthcoming Lok Sabha Election =2014
