Why suddenly the CBI Director dorns the mantle of a honest, independent, straight-forward Officer? If it is not any personal gain, the the other Officers should be made to follow him in all cases without exception.

by Thrinadh vasantavada on Apr 23, 2013 10:38 AM

the general perception that cbi works for the benifit of the govt. in power is poved to be correct.all along the govts in power especially congress party has taken maximum advantage in saving its corrupt leaders from bofors till date by influencing cbi directors with some plum posts post retirement as in the case of delhi rights.
congress also to prop its govt. from falling saveing lalu, mulayam mayavati in D&A cases

Corruption,Scams and Scandals
by K Bhaskaran on Apr 23, 2013 10:37 AM

Behind every corruption, scam, scandal and unruly behaviour there is a minister, ministers and GOM and top politicians. There should notbe any lesser punishment than death and the Courts should institute fasttrack courts and speedy punishments. The tall andmighty should not use courts for delaying the course of justice. Then only there is a future for India. The Mother ofall corruptions should be deported.

'CBI's coal-gate report shared with Ashwani, but not diluted'
by Anand YNI on Apr 23, 2013 10:34 AM

We will believe the first half and not the other half (but not diluted).

In fact, CBI should actually be 100% trustworthy but here it is only 50%, meaning, it is NOT trustworthy at all!

Why should CBI director share the report with the government when the Supreme court clearly instructed them not to do so. This is an contempt of court and CBI Director should be penalized for same.

What we understand

1. Additional Solicitor overstepped but did not lie to Court. 2. CBI has no official/lawyer for correction in the report. It has to go to Law Minister. 3. Law Minister will tone down the status report but will claim first he has not seen the report. But after caught will say the lanugage was changed as if the report was first in Latin.

CBI & Govt. interference
by Rajiv Shivashankar on Apr 23, 2013 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

The CBI is a government tool. This is amply clarified by this incident. The raids on the DMK were also orchestrated by the Congress, who then said the CBI is independent. What lies are we fed by this imbecile government.
