Priest donating kidney to Muslim
by Davis Chittissery on Apr 22, 2013 10:11 AM  | Hide replies

It is a pity that even when good deeds are done, people look at them through jaundiced eyes instead of appreciating them.

Yes ofcourse Mr Davis when one does such a good deed,we should have the mind to appreciate them,no point in being cynical always. How many of these people will be ready to do such a help?

Isn't the kidney rendered haraam because the presumed donor could have eaten haraam?

The transplant approval committee in Kerala deserves kudos !
by Abraham Joseph on Apr 21, 2013 01:57 PM

Being one who had undergone high trauma and pain of getting approval for a 3rd party kidney transplant in Kerala, the news is a welcome change ! It is time for the central and state governments to open-up laws so that such altruistic 3rd party organ donations are made more liberal and patient-friendly !

People like you are causing the divide.
You talk of humanity and then in the
same breath about muslims and dalits
being victims (which is not true)
You played your game out well.

too much of hatred
by Bency Thomas on Apr 21, 2013 01:49 PM

seeing the hatred campaign going on just because a priest donated his kidney, we should ban them from donating organs in future. Those who find ulterior motives behind such donation only should be allowed to donate organs

Wonderful refreshing news. It is people like these who make it worthwhile to know that we are still human and we feel sorrows and joys alike.
