Let the author know that the majority are Hindus and 99 in 100 kidneys donated might be from a Hindu, so why so hype if 1 in a 100 or a 1000 donates from a minority community. Is it bread-butter policy everywhere ???

First of all, there is hardly any donation to strangers happening. You might donate one to a close relative. People in need of money could SELL to a stranger. If a Hindu or anybody else, donate one to a total stranger, it will be a news. More so if the donor is a priest donating to a man from another religion. Probably you are blind from a saffron dust and need some help. Get well soon.
Why do you bring religion to each and everything or anything ???? Why cant you take it up as a good human being helping another ??? The british efficiently divided the country on the basis of religion, the politicians divided it into further smaller pieces on the basis of language, caste, creed and community, and the media still sings the song for all these...
