Why so to make so much hue & cry on this ? Congress was trying to put his puppet in chair through Governer - like it always does ? Mere thought of Justice R A Mehta's name gives Modi, nightmares. After all, how will he explain where 1 lakh crore rupees went? And Justice Mehta is not just appointed by Governor, he is approved in judgement by Supreme Court.
Imagine this guy as PM? One can bid goodbye to thoughts of any Lokpal Bill. It is upto the people of Gujarat to decide whether they want him as CM with such unbridled powers. I shudder to think of him as PM.

in fact it is congress has snatched powers of appointment of Lokayukt through governor. if it was not so then why it was pending of appointment lokayukt by Governor & why governor not appointed Lokayukt earlier. It was congress game plan, because CBI (Congress Beurau of Investigation) has found nothing against Modi government., congress was in search of a tool through which it can trap & go for which hunt against Modi i.e. Lokaykt was appointed in connivance with governor & even CJI of Gujrat . It was a Congress game plan.
