INDEED It is a NATIONAL shame that common needs are sold

It is a shame that common basic needs are sold by the government in public places after 65 years of Independence.

Even for easing and for urinating you have to pay in Railway stations and bus stands. This is our government.

When a railway or bus ticket is purchased by a person, he should be eligible to get every basic need of human being irrespective of his status, till he completes his journey.

In Hotels, restaurants,Public malls people are required to shed money for relieving themselves which is beyond the control of humans in this world including world leaders.

At Railway Stations and Bus stands, they are looting public in the name of providing parking facility to public.

Shameless government with useless leaders.

No VIP Treatment For Anyone

Right to Free Speech and Expression is valuable but not absolute. There are limits and restrictions to any right, including the one under which freelance cartoonist Mr. Aseem Trivedi is booked.

There is a huge hue and cry over Mr. Trivedi’s arrest. Why so much outcry over an action against the cartoonist? The answer is simple.

It is because he is part of Mr. Anna Hazare’s so-called anti-corruption stir, a BJP-RSS backed anti-Congress, anti-UPA government agitation. Any action against elements involved in the movement is branded as ‘Conspiracy’ by authorities or ‘Intolerance of the corrupt politicians’.

My question here is simple. Why can’t we allow the law to take its own course in the case? No one is above the law. Be they politicians, businessmen, journalists or any other VIPs. There shouldn’t be any fear of the law in anyone mind. Instead we must respect the law – the essence of a democracy.

really? so why is the law unable to arrest gandhis and let the courts decide - like you want for trevedi? the case surrounding gandhis in public view is so thick and overwhelming that it is easily within the purview of law-enforcement - and, on a priority basis. what's good for trevedi should be good for gandhis, right?

The action was taken at the behest of Kang Ress party.

Seeing the public sentiment, they have been forced to bite the dust once again.

When will we be able to eliminate this Kang Ress party from India.....

Guptaji,
You or nobody can eleminate this congress as they have lacs of crores rupees in domestic banks and foreign banks - this money is being used during the election and succeeds in it. So you cannot fight with this richest political party in the world.

caricatures in parliament
by Saurabh Goswami on Sep 10, 2012 12:28 PM

If you compare today's political class of Lalus, Mulayams, Sonia's and Digvijaya's with past leaders like Bose, Shastri, Patel and Sawarkar- the present lot are like cartoons themselves.
