Peace of mind
by lover on Oct 08, 2012 03:51 PM  | Hide replies

Peace of mind and contentment/satisfaction is thing which keeps the mind at rest. Of what use is the wealth, fame, popularity and comforts if mind is not at peace. If mind is not working in the correct way, that is the end. Therefore, Wise sages and philosophers have said, One should strive towards peace of mind and contentment, which is of course, very difficult to achieve.

What about Indira, Sanjay and Rajiv Gandhis? Did Nehru die peacefully after loosing to China? It is one's destiny and not party that decides.

A true journalist

I don't know reasons behind such a drastic step by her.

But she was a true soldier with a pen. Very few voices in India who was bold and true without bothering to be politically correct.

Not sure if rediff will miss her but readers will definitely miss her. They have already missed her writing for long.

thou ate...., promoting she never had peace of mind. ????? will she be cow now? at age of 50 she creates suicide, when the person should have made her life, by being more understandable as well as being more responsible. Also she was not dependent on her family members. U have to crave your life, then too why she took such extensive step , no peace of mind.
