Nationalise Reliance patrolium.
by Ahi Sen on Nov 03, 2012 09:00 PM

If MMS can nationalise Reliance Petroleum he would not only serve national interest but also salvage the image of his party to a great extent.

Conveys very little on achievements
by SUBROTO RAY on Nov 03, 2012 03:21 PM  | Hide replies

It is well known that Reddy and Pranabda were two ministers holding crucial portfolios who did grossly underperform to put India on the brink of a down grade. This article eulogizing a guy for not taking bribe or a cut as being a great minister is simply idiotic. And so is the comparison of USA and India,Exxon Mobile and Reliance and Indian constitution it's governance with.that of USa. Bottom line is what did he achieve? Don't forget these guys are highly paid staff. And they should justify the salary they are earning and the power they are enjoying. And Arvind Kejriwal is a political activist who behind making noises on corruption and looters has his both eyes set on gaining power. This has been said by none other than Anna Hazare his one time mentor who he has conveniently deserted. So it is ridiculous to applaud Jaipal Reddy's efforts just as is ridiculous to applaud a policeman's effort to catch a thief. Both are doing their duties for which they are paid for. What's great? Rediff improve quality of journalism.

this is all there is to honesty?

a businessman is trying to negotiate with his customer, which is the goi in this case. the customer's representative said "no" to a business proposal he was not convinced about, and the businessman left, the meeting was over. this happens in many business dealings all over the world. that's all one can get out of this article, and it is supposed to be abig deal about honesty?! frankly, i don't get it.

What is wrong with Arvind Kejriwal wanting to make political inroads or becoming an MP. I am sure he will definitely be much better than most others that we have currently. This is the problem with us. The moment someone from a non-political family wants to get into politics, we do not support that idea. It is in fact we the people of India who actually promote political dynasties and family rule.

It's not as simple as you are making it out to be. To be able to stand up to the most powerful business house in the country and sustain that stand requires spine, which most politicians DO NOT have. Hence, I don't see why Mr. Reddy should not be applauded here.

Dhoort , Ambani vs Mohammad Gauri
by aamaadmi on Nov 03, 2012 03:07 PM  | Hide replies

Mohd Gauri has plundered india 17 times, but ambanis and dhoort are plundering indian resources on the daily basis.

Videocon was among the highest fund donor to the political parties both BJP and Congress, but not been able to pay the payment of their vendor and employees.

Irony of the Indian corporates.........
