He is not repenting..
by harsha bhatt on May 23, 2012 09:09 AM  | Hide replies

Through his intentional or unintentional, irresponsible act, he has caused a fellow human being to commit suicide and in all these photoes, he is neither repentful nor regretting his act....

He should be very happy to just get away with 30 days jail...

Why is rediff so obsessed with this news??? Are they connected to him in anyway??? Why are they showing him as a saint??? Doesn't he deserve much bigger punishment????

Not only him, must have been paid both by US , congress as well. Gives them a chance to show their good relations, even if it means killing the justice and glorifying a killer.

Mr.Bhatt, about 50 Indian Amercians have been killed who came to study there, not one is punished. What is your comments on this ? Atleast this guy is punished somehow, but what about the dozens Indian Americans killed? where is the justice.
Boot lickers like you spoil Indians image.

@ heypal, I don't even want to know what you lick, but the existence of people like you make the whole world a very sad place.

BTW, yes, the people who were responsible for the 50 Indian Americans who were killed, who came to the US to study have been punished. Don't spread your lies on this forum.
First give the names (full name including family name, father's name and mother's maiden name), address, date of murder, location at the time of murder and reason for being at the site of murder at the time of murder and I shall give you the details of the sentences awarded to the criminals.

@ heypal, people like you spoil human race's image. What a pity you claim to be from India (though I suspect you are from a failed nation that abuses America in one breath and then begs for alms in the next breath and thus the cylce goes on)

Dog days
by Cuthbert Calculus on May 23, 2012 08:08 AM

The dog mewling doesnt mean anything. It was only its way of telling its handler that it was ready for its saucer of milk and since it was raining could they take the walk as having been over and done with.

Ravi never should have been charged with any crimes. The jury gave him 10 years and through appeal he got only 30 days. But the question is how come? The judge Berman was the ONLY one who read the suicide note and gave him 30 days instead of 10 years. The question is what was there in the suicide note? Nobody knows except the judge Berman. The verdict is scapegoat the brown-guy at least for few days otherwise the g a y community will be upset. Why the 30 year old WHITE guy never been questioned about Tyler's death? There are so many un-answered questions and nobody would know. I hope Ravi can go on to the normal life he deserves, after his month in jail

Gift horse
by Small Tribe on May 23, 2012 06:20 AM

Parents gifted Ravi webcam bcoz they thought they could see him when he talked to them online. From India it would have made them greatly happy or happily great. They didnt tell. But that is not the way to give a gift (out of desire and ego for oneself).

Main mistake
by Small Tribe on May 23, 2012 04:46 AM  | Hide replies

The main mistake Ravis parents seem to have made is they should have given him a separate room instead of a webcam and told him to keep off beef and alcohol.

Apparently Ravi had requested a separate room already to the college, but they had not acted on it.
Ravi;s only mistake was his insensitivity and his kiddish prank, for which 30 days is too less a punishment, but maximum should have been 1 year.
