the job he did was a routine job a prosecutor would do. the best that can be said about him is that he did not botch up the job. hardly worth any recognition.
I wish our AGs and prosecutors are as good and sincere as Preet Bharara, we need thousands of Preets here to nail millions of corrupts and anti nationals. Anyway, proud of all these people who are helping India indirectly by their influences on US policy making.

In India the most honest of the honest people have to become corrupt.
It is a choice between being corrupt or losing it all.
When we have the creator and sustain e r of corruption, the Cong party, ruling us like they own the country, no honest official or officials can make a difference.
With the influx of more money in the country, India can never get rid of corruption.
Team Anna and B a b a Ram Dave are simply wasting their and the people's time.

Who will come back to india ??? indians r not good to any one...what they did to me and others those came back...
They are serving US and struggling hard to make US a No.1 country in everything, no contribution to Indian community, since Independence the same Corruption problems, Poverty, unemployment and the biggest Indians enemy is millenium old "SLAVERY ATTITUDE", If there is no use from them to Hamari Bharath, then What is the use of this award, Not making any sense.
But that is the case with every Indian who migrates.
Nobody migrates to help their country, at least no Indian does.
As for giving awards like these, Indian media is full of people who could not migrate themselves and try to live their dreams of migrating and being successful abroad vicariously by kissing the back sides of successful migrants.
Re diff excels at this migrant worship and hype.
These awards are a good example of this worship and hype.

What you talk makes little or probably no sense.Recognition has no manmade barriers!!If one excells in a particular field,it does get recognition no matter to which country you belong.
I hope fellow Indan origin persons respect fellow Indian origin persons
66 plus years have passed ,yet we have to wait or look for Job visas
I hope Indian polity,industry and all those NRIs attending Pravasi Bharathiya diwas reflect the same
why not help India get to 5th or 6th Place in Global economies (say some 5-6 trillion dollars GDP economy) ,so that there is ample Job creation and pension schemes that Govt can support
I hope next Pravasi Bharathiya Diwas will discuss
i)Global Financial Crisis ii)Rural India ,Youth and Poverty iii)Indias development Index etc iv)NRI remittances Gulf bound Indian workers vs OECD NRIs etc I hope NRIs should devote some sessions to the above

Insread of everytime some news that is not Comfortable appears --- i)Some INDIANS pretend they got nothing to do with it
ii)some will simply their commentary and make comments
But what no one does is --- use Stage like Pravasi Bharitiya Diwas to address both Celebration as well as CONSTRUCTIVE agenda
We should have ways to Insure overseas students against adverse incidents ii)Seniors in overseas countries as well as back in India
iii)as a Team to help each other Not North vs south like stuff ----- Some need Team work and respect for each other
some need monetary assistance ,this can be set up ,if we build India AND make it a 5-6 Trillion US dollar economy
That will give room for Pensions and Indian embassy abroad can have Forensics teams attached to help or investigate incidents
Hope we will cover the above rather than brush them aside Thanks
indians seem to get brilliant when they leave the country; the crooks, criminal mps and mlas, the useless are left behind to try and govern the country.

sometimes people get fed up of trying to make it with the smart crooks and criminals around. Not every body has that kind of IQ. If you can only do your job (ie your IQ is limited to your job or you are too moral to outsmart the crooks)Then, It is easier to run away than fight. You may be killed or never appreciated. Besides a lot of posts need certain castes and not ability.

i would certainly endorse your views.why is it that we perform so well when we set our foot on a foreign land?it is probably coz of the fact that we are given congenial atmosphere to perform, which precisely is quite the reverse while here...
