Jagan's thumping victory should be considered as a referendum. Jagan should be released immediately. If Jagan abused power, with no knowledge of YSR, why did people not beleive that story?.

Electoral Popularity & ILLEGALITY are two different issues! Jagan Reddy had ahead of the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat by-poll declared that he and his spouse have assets worth Rs 445.70 crore and loans to the tune of Rs 10.12 crore. In his affidavit, Jagan said he has assets worth Rs 390.70 crore, while his wife owns movable and immovable property worth Rs 55 crore. His net worth thus went from 20 lakhs in 2004 to nearly 500crores as per his IT returns! Jagan thus earned more money than a Tata or Ambani or Birla during the 5 year tenure of YSR's chief ministership from 2004 to 2009. Could anyone tell us what are the unique qualities or talents that Jagan has? The only honest work that he has ever done in his life is holding up his folded hands in the air and sporting a goofy smile! And to think such thugs, thieves and charlatans have public support!
We Indians deserve these politicians as we keep electing such scum back to power. All that these political parties care about is perpetuating their control over POWER! Where are the "INDIANS" amongst us? Sadly, we Indians are amongst the most corrupt, immoral, bigoted societies in the world. Indians discriminate on the basis of caste, colour, religion, gender, subcasteand even dietary preferences. WE VOTE THE SAME WAY!

Mulayam & Son were recently elected back to power as were people like SRIRAMULU, the stooge of the Bellary Reddys!
99% of POLITICAL DYNASTY heirs have done ZERO work in their life. There are over 100 examples in this LOK SABHA alone! The only work a Rahul or a Jyotiraditya Scindia or a Kanimozho or a Jagan Reddy or an Uudhav Thackeray know is holding up both hands in the air and sport a goofy smile! And they are now individually worth millions! Same is true of Yeddy's sons & son in law in Karnataka or Rajshekhar Reddy's son Jagan in Andhra Pradesh OR Rahul Mahajan or Anup Bishnoi or Stalin/Kanimozhi o or Pankaja Munde.or Kirti Azad , Nilesh Rane, etc. etc. ... DYNASTIC politics is the bane of India!
Many parties are now FAMILY businesses, existing solely for the propagation of the FAMILY members' interests!
We have a ruling family which has turned the grand old Congress party in to a personal fiefdom or private business enterprise. A family in which the matriarch rules a nation of 1.2 billion people through a proxy- a puppet PM who warms the chair till her callow young son can take over. An army of fawning sycophants deify and praise the Family through which they draw their power!

The Mining mafia has made billions in collusion with unscrupulous politicians in states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, MP, Goa, Jharkhand. etc. The rot cuts across all political parties. And blatant, unchecked mining has destroyed forest land, the green cover and in many places the soil has been poisoned and has turned barren & uncultivable.
And the truth is that YSR-a popular CM of AP facilitated this and his son Jagan was the key strategist. Already this family including the dead Rajashekhar Reddy have looted crores and these people blindly support them based on caste & community loyalties! Just as the Bellary Reddys' stooge won the Bellary by-election or as Madhu Koda's wife won in Jharkhand, it may is no surprise that YSR Congress candidates got elected by the people!
What does this tell us INDIANS about ourselves? George Bernard Shaw said it beautifully - “Democracy is a device that insures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.”
