Wonder how there are so many alternatives in AP but the darling of the media and IT crowd - CBN is getting thrashed in his home town of Tirupati! And less said about Chiru the better. So will congress swap Chiru for Jagan, or go for assortment of allies like TRS, Majlis etc? Wonder how the farmers are doing now? Despite all the political confusion and Telengana it's a miracle that Hyderabad is doing so well in IT and other industries, as well as solid infrastructure! May be other states can learn- keep the politicians busy and your state will improve?!
The plank of overplay of the corruption charges against Jagan leading ultimately to his arrest just before the elections although it is well known that his assets are whopping in relation to the worth of what was declared by him DID not work well for any of the opponents of Jagan.Still people get carried away by the schemes YSR introduced while he was alive. All the whispers that Jagan is out with his arrest & the widow of YSR- Vijayamma has no charisma needed for winning an election have been set at naught quite abruptly with to-day's election results.People have given a clear signal that they can put up even with corruption if ,in the past, some thing tangible is done to them by the people belonging to the leader who mattered. Now,the next phase of programma by the sitting legislators starts-jumping from Congress camp to the nest of Jagan for obvious reasons of safeguarding their future prospects. They may feel that they no longer need to stick to a sinking boat. The greatest problem being faced in AP politics is that, there is no acceptable leader to steer the state although much is said about Naidu about his administrative & party skills. For no plausible reasons, he became unwanted by the people if the results were to be an indication.None of the parties in the fray lacked funds although Jagan is said to have played more with his money. But as the proverb goes-"jo jeethega vohi secunder"
