Her start is a kick start as a politician who are known liars and corrupt.She is a born politician whose base is on falsificated age.Why did she not disclose earlier when she was contesting her first election ever.She would have been disqualified then and there.

The worst article I have read ever! Humour? You humour me. Cynicism? Certainly. Not worth a second visit. Even Oprah should not visit again.
I am about the same age as Mamata and gave my Higher Secondary exam from Calcutta when I was 14 and 1/2 and then moved on to IIT.
Nobody objected.
Mamata has been getting away with all sort of tall tale but claiming to be 5 years younger ( just after her Mother who could have verified it passed away ) takes the cake.
She is living in a world of make believe. Does not bode well for WB

Mamta has always been in news for absurd reason which can hardly be accepted by any rationale mind.
It is one more attempt to draw people attention and give them a piece of material that is controversial.

FYI graduated from IIT Kharagpur at 19-1/2, designed one of India's Defense plants ( in Hyderabad - makes special materials for rockets etc. ) by 21 and then left for the USA to get a PhD. Have lived here ever since and worked for Motorola & Intel. Not an Indian citizen anymore, but still very concerned about the decline of Bengal.
