If such an irresponsible Pak can have nuke why not Iran specially when Israel is not ready to get rid of its war head; Now a days the nuke is more used to have your words listen by all rather than using it for destruction; Israel is fearing not bcoz Iran will nuke it but till this time he has been threatening and doing all the action and strikes on other land as he liked but now it has to be careful;

Incredible, So you support that iran can have nukes only so that they have their say. What a thinking?? This way then every country is entitled to have nuke weapons.

Pukistan won't threaten 'cos the element of surprise would be lost. It uses the terrorists to execute its nefarious designs. One of these days the paki generals are gonna scheme and sent out a nuke warhead through terorists into a neighbourhood near you. They were hiding Osama towards that purpose - but now they have to rely on 100K other zombies. Pakistan is nothing but a 'nuclear state sponsorer of terorism'. Instead of taking it out of their hands the west is busy targetting Iran - to jack up the oil price.

oil-corpos of usa have shares in saudi oil only. hence the hostility to oil compete from iran.
India should not get sucked into the Iran Israel conflict.We need both countries and have good relations with both.The US is not fair when it is putting all the blame on Iran forgetting Israeli actions in the past.
Iran supplies us with much needed oil and it has a right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful use.Doesn't Israel already have the bomb when Iran has still not got there?
We cannot trust the US always.They have already started talking to the Taliban.What guarantee is there that tomorrow they will not be pals with Iran? Where will that leave us if we oppose Iran? Let us take care of our national interests.As they say,in politics there are no permanent friends or foes, only permanent interests.
India has to take care of its interests its energy needs first.Considering the fact that more than 2/3 rd of its Oil needs to be imported it is a good opportunity for India to negotiate and increase its oil imports from Iran on more favourable terms.Every country has to look after its national interests first and energy security in these periods of uncertainities has to take precedence over other issues.May be India could even play a more important role of mediation between Iran and the U.S. who were closest of allies in the seventies and Iran was considered one of the world powers.Let us hope Iran gradually regains its past Persian glory lost after the so called Islamic revolution.
Burns article brings out what is there in the US Administration's mind.
It is rather uncharitable on Mr.Burns part, particularly in view of his eminence and his closeness to India, to make such an expression.
It clearly brings out USs mind on India. US is expecting India to be its vassal state like Mexico and some other countries selling itself to the US and do the USs bidding in the world arena without application of mind.
US had helped India in the last one decade and that is acknowledged, no doubt about that.
But that does not mean that India will lose its friends just because there are the USs enemies.
India and Pakistan are enemies for 6 decades. But the US worked with both countries and did not take sides with one nation. That is diplomacy. A nation should keep its interests in mind first and not that of your friend.
Similarly, if the US wants India can play some role for bringing Iran around for its good but India can not make Iran its enemy just the way the US didnt make Pakistan or India its enemy just because Pak and India wanted the US to take sides.
Similarly India didnt make Burma its enemy just because the US is against Burmese Regime.
DItto with Israel.
They are all Indias friends and India needs them all as India can not have an ally purely because of religion affinity. There is no other Hindooo nation in the world.
India's massive trained soldiers can help UN Ops replacing the USs troops.
