real proof! what iran did, in previous india-pak wars?
by jewkrewll on Feb 22, 2012 12:47 AM

then, both india and pak asked for iran`s help.

and what iran did?

they quickly, flew dozens of their FIGHTER JETS,
so that PAK could bombINDIA!

and, they `LOANed` out many many TANKS to PAK!

and, they gave full support to PAK,
in international community!

also, the SAUDIz behaved in an identical manner.
BUT! for years now,
PAKIs are suicideBOMBING the SHIAz in PAK,
killing SHIAz by the THOUSANDS...(iranis)

and, even worse,
c0ngress is supporting both iran and pak!
but not supporting india...so who is the worst enemy?
pak?
or, saudi?
or iran,
or c0ngress??

Iran and the problems of world
by Mr Walker on Feb 21, 2012 01:46 PM  | Hide replies

The world has to stop using religion as political tool and most of the problems will automatically sort out.

The USA has to find an clean alternative to oil instead of trying to control oil producing nations and thus putting the entire world at risk.

Iran has never caused any problems to India so there is no need to be against them.
At the same time even India needs to think of getting a cleaner alternative to oil so that we have less pollution and more self reliance.

Gesture....
by Suniiel K on Feb 21, 2012 02:14 AM

"Burns added that unfortunately, India has made no corresponding gesture in return for the big vision that Obama and Bush have offered."

The gesture is in slide no. 3 :)

What price democracy
by Cuthbert Calculus on Feb 21, 2012 02:04 AM

Even in USA itself there have been protests against the USA cossetting a monarchy in Saudi Arabia. Yet USA continues to import more oil from Saudi Arabia which is a slap in the face of democracy.

Importing oil from Iran / Supplying arms to Pak-i-Stan
by Mazel on Feb 21, 2012 02:03 AM

The US has found it expedient to supply arms to Pak-i-Stan for decades, besides shovelling USD to feed the rapacious appetites of your "ally". The very weapons that have over decades been used to attack India. Besides this, lest we forget, the US actively helped Pak-i-Stan get nuclear weapons by turning a blind eye and lying to the US Congress.
Nicholas Burns, when you feel the bite of the slap, think about the deep wounds the US has repeatedly inflicted on India.
Remember, it is not just US interests at stake. The legitimate interests of a democratic nation is also to be valued.

Iran not worse than Pakistan
by Jay Shah on Feb 21, 2012 02:00 AM

Iran hasn't done anything worse than Pakistan. The Shia bomb will remove the asymmetry that allows Saudis to finance their ideology using Sunni oil money. Indians should have closer relationship with Iran like what Chinese have with Pakistan.

taste of your own medicine feels like a slap...good for the US
by shanmfu on Feb 21, 2012 01:58 AM

US has been supporting Pakistan for more than 50 years and Pakistan has done more harm to India directly or indirectly than Iran has done to US. US has been slapping india in the face for more than 60 years now....its time india responded.
