No clear demand was made like resignation of chief minister, police officers, ets., which could also have been included with more punishment for rapists. But it has brought about kind of understanding between the people. People seems to be more polite to each other in the last 2 days, so it the agitation was not really directionless.
all problem with public. no moral. illegal check before birthing, boy or girl. then maximum kill girl. when big, less girl more boy. sometime six man, sometime twelve man. girl remain one. but correct, all level mix in this story, big to small. nothing happen for so many year. always hearing same same story. some people buy newspaper only to read this type story. small channel and newspaper tell this story in detail, high popular, good selling - they shout 'sensation' type word.
if all the brother,father,husband of india will stop to wear shorts (to avoid exposs her body)to his sister,daughter,wife, then all the such type of heinous crime will be stopped automatically.

good idea. you say right. more cover, and all in by sun down, since all get rapper animal (special in night).
Anywhere in India it can happen because everywhere corrupt politicians, ministers, police and government officials are there. If the total system is changed, only then we can feel secure. Anybody can start the change the way the youths and the others have started in Delhi and elsewhere in the country.

Everyone has to play their part. I have lived in countries where women are fairly safe - there is no place where they are safer than men to venture alone at night time. The basic issue is we want unbridled freedom and democracy without rule of law and that means anarchy. In India, who you know matters more than what you know! Where I live police came at dead of night to verify my ID and I was happy to show mine and comply. In India I can know the reaction - why me? Why not others? Don't they have better things to do etc etc. Unless each is part and parcel of law and order an do our part - all these are cry in the wilderness.
Then these crimes are by youth. Why don't the young take charge. Everything is wrong - why only protest and not take charge and that includes the worthy journalists and columnists. Get dirty and wet and we are part of the problem and solution. Without rigorous enforcement of rule of law and respect to the authorities, nothing is possible. We can cry ourselves hoarse and then visit a doctor in the end. The solution is total clean up of the system not expecting the older generation to clean up and serve everything on a silver plate. Look at US - Obama says, be the change and he takes it on the chin after taking the plunge. Do we have anyone stepping forward and promising to take the bull by the horns and that means to have skin thicker than the bull? These protests will fizzle out in no time otherwise. Protesting and angry words are the easiest part.

but friend US not good. many killer and rapper. Obama is good. my Tamil friend catch bull by horn and throw it away in one festival. you see Mother India great, only woman in problem, very less no.
