Protestor now crossing limit and are risking life of girl. How?
by Incredible India on Dec 23, 2012 05:16 PM  | Hide replies

This is the reasoning....
The protest is not stopping down. And they are demanding which cannot be done in a week. One of their demand is asurity of hanging the culprits however under current law it cannot be done.... BUT
now we got a news that the poor raped girl is again put under ventilator after her health was good in the morning which made me think that it seems some politics is being played.
If the girl dies then those culprit can be charged with murder case which have provision to give death penalty. So who knows somebody might have order to set that girl to death and thus using the shoulder of the culprits to resolve both issue;

So requesting all who are now in Delhi to protest with intelligence... and not risking life of poor girl.

Agreed the law cannot be changed in one week.... But what happened to those laws which is lying in the parliament for the past seven years.. Its the same laws against rape which is in Parliament which they have not taken up for debate even once.. If it would have been anything regarding the pay bills of the MPs it would have cleared in one hour without even a single debate ..

Come on use your intellence. The fate of the poor rape victim and the current protests should be viewed differently. The fate of the girls in in the hands of the doctors and the entire country prays for her speedy recovery. The current protests is about venting the anger of the people against an unresponsive and insensitive system and govt which has been fooling the public for years by giving false assurances.
Women are not safe not only in Delhi but throughout the country and if this problem is not tackled seriously the agitation likely to spread to all state capitals.Govts only wake up when there are protests and a danger to their vote banks. The opposition is perfectly justified in taking advantage. If they don't take part they are criticized and again if they do so.Aam Aadmi party also represents the aam aadmi.Besides the students require some organised support to carry forward a sustained agitation.

And how do you guarentee that some anti-social elements get into the protest and then starts burning the public properties and police vans?

And you want police to go softer and not act....

Protest is protest till it is heard; now it is heard and it is still continuing dont know where it is heading and nobody knows what it demand for?
Culprits cant be hanged in a day... law has to be given time... to take its course.
If the justice is delayed then we have to gather again.. but now its time to give some time.

If ,I am not wrong this incident of rape(in moving bus) has ashamed the Indian culture at all over the world where civilized human being reside.but this incident is not unique/first in itself, many such cases are not reported ,monster of the society don't have respect/fear to law of nation. In India accused enjoy the weaknesses of the system and victims suffer due to such weaknesses.please think in depth, who make the system, who make the nation pride.its all about the nationals of the nation.

kangraas will have to answer to aam aadmi
by Grizzly on Dec 23, 2012 05:01 PM  | Hide replies

kangraas has failed on all fronts! Women are not safe, children are not safe, elderly are not safe, nobody is safe under kangraas govt!

Everytime a horrible crime like the recent Delhi case happens, everybody wonders if something like that could happen to their siisters, wiffes, daaughters, moothers, girrrlfriends, friends or even to themselves!

This has been happening for a long time now. Why hasnt kangraas done anything about it? What have they got to say about it?

We dont want empty promises by kangrass. They cant keep fooling us forever!

They want to buy time so that people calm down and forget about it with time! We will not let them get away with it! They will have to answer to the public! We are the aam aadmi and We have had enough of the kangraas betrayal!

In any other country, the top man would have immediately responded and assured the public of quick stringent action and bringing in tough laws for crimes against women. But in our country, our leader Maun Mohan Singh is conspicuous by his silence and absense. And Congress boasts as if he is a great leader!!

No Assurances, the Common man wants ACTION...Translate ACTION into IMPLEMENTING LAW...You can do that QUICKLY as you are in the Govt. How much time should it take for you (the Govt) to hang the accused and implement a Law ?. All the time its vain statements that we are looking into the matter seriously or we will take action...When ? after another Gangrape ?...

Oh, these stuxpid middle class commoners!
by piri on Dec 23, 2012 04:52 PM  | Hide replies

Daily incidents of rape, many of them followed by murder occurring all around them never caught their attention! This was because the victims were all very poor or poor women.

These middle class commoners were sure in their stuxpidity that middle class women were unlikely to be raped. So, they did not bother at all to protest in any manner remotely like they are doing now.

In their crass stuxpidity, the middle class youth imagined that rapists will remain content with raping poor and disadvantaged women and girls.

Time to change the capital
by side arm on Dec 23, 2012 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

Time to bifurcate/trifurcate the north indian states ( UP, BIhar, MP ) and shift the captial to multiple cities like, nagpur, and hyderabad as envisioned by Dr Ambedkar. these northies, inspite of being backward, are dominating the politics only because of the size of their states. this was poison injected by nehru
