Why dont we get hold of some Norwegians and remand them to police custody for leaving their parents behind and not even enquiring about them?

Very sadly we dont convert our cultural beliefs into laws like they do because we are afraid of secularism. If we had done that so many Europeans would have been behind bars. If parents cannot discipline children as per Norwegian laws, it is really a sad commentary on "Western Civilisation". Some days back "Western Civilisation" killed a pregnant Indian woman citing laws

One big message..
by Tom Dick on Dec 01, 2012 07:29 PM  | Hide replies

One message for all Indian IT companies sending their staff abroad on site jobs is to train them and brief them properly about the law of that land. What is acceptable for us may not be acceptable for others. We have our people languishing in jails in many countries abroad because of lack of awareness of local customs and law. So HR departments of all companies should train their staff before sending them abroad. That may be a good start. We can't expect Norway to change their rules and can't expect them to have two different rules, one for locals and one for foreigners.

I totally agree with you. Before going to other country, you should know the local law, customs of that country and respect the same

Some days back there was a European who traveled around Delhi with a portable toilet, filmed it and showed it around as a proof of India's "poor" sanitary record. A Slumdog Millionaire wins an Oscar. These guys didnt need a lesson on Indian culture before they landed in Delhi?

I am sure all Lankans doesnt think like you. Check your position in South east asia and dont ever try to compare yourself with India. You have the history of Ravana. Other than that your contribution to world history is 0.Indians dont go to Sri Lanka because the slums there are far worse than we may have in India. You seem like a person without any grasp of knowledge. Other lankans will be ashamed of you.

First ask question why educated people from India migrate abroad?
Anwswer: Quality of life in India is very low.
Now if somebody wants to migrate the individual should respect the law of that country.
Last few days back one case in Ireland the lady lost her life as abortion is not allowed, The husband should be arrested as he could have sent his wife on emergency basis to India!! these people go to make money and land up in all sorts of problems!!

"At Least 80 Dead in Norway Shooting"

It is not important to be in Norway or to Live in Norway to have a Political Understanding.

Europe is heading to a big change towards ethnic cleansing and they are doing all sort of tactics..

Norway is a Land of Laws so it is using its Legal tactics.

Cultural disconnect
by Debayan Banerjee on Dec 01, 2012 04:43 PM

There is a cultural disconnect between the family values of Norway and India. I don't think that 'disciplining' a child because he wetted his pants is wrong. There is no physical abuse involved here. So does norway think that even discipling a child is tantamount to threat. I am sure his father was being strict so that he does not repeat again. Do Norwegians assume that the intellect and maturity of a 7 year old child is equal to an adult's?

Norway is not for
by Amit Sharma on Dec 01, 2012 04:19 PM  | Hide replies

Norway is not for Indians. The number of Pakistanis welcomed in Norway and some of them are in politics. Naturally the hatred would be against Indians on minor sharges of letting small children sleep with parents. No wonder there was so much hatred against their government esulting in massacre.
