Indian media has morbid obsession with details of hanging. There is not need to create a hype around it just execute the punishment swiftly without going hyperbolic about the procedure.
I think supreme court should put a gag order on media till execution is carried out.

We should release Afzal guru and kasab and given Indian citizen ship to show our tolorence to world! Else our brother will be enoyed!
While admiring the concern of civilised humans in respecting and mitigating the feelings of a being led to its end, I am also mentioning that similar advice is provided in scriptures of major religions regarding safeguarding of feelings of even other two and four legged animals ,(chicken,lamb etc) when being slaughtered......wish we pledge and strive to observe them, as well, in our daily lives
There can be no sympathy for Kasab.It was a cold blooded murder planned by state machinery.The perpetrators do not feel they have done any wrong.They are happy that their mission is accomplished. So,where is the question of granting mercy to Kasab?

@abd, We ruled for 1000yrs ?? who is this we ?? 99% of indian muslims were forcibly conveted and were among those who were ruled over. Do u find any trace of erstwhile muslim rulers in india or pakistan ?? no you wont coz the 'way' they ruled (with the exception of Akbar) does not stand the onslaught of time... all vanished without any trace... Hehhe this is mentality of cruel midle age. For Indians enemyship end with the death of enemy. Don't preach your midle aged theroy here. We are practicing such high moral value since last 10000 years,know your soil first.
This article is written as if Kasab will be hanged tomorrow. It is just that hounourable supreme court of India has given its verdict. There are many other convicts who have been sentensed to death, but they are yet to be executed. Kasabs' actual execution will wait for years together. Indin president may finally grant him clemensey on humaniterian or some other unfounded ground. Capital punishment in India has been abolished long back, it stays only on paper now.

Me too, for free. I will not charge a single penny to govt. of India to carry out execution. I will also see to it that he dies on gallows. It does not matter wether or not I know how to prepare the noose. If nothing works, I will press his nuts hard. I am ready to do the same with Afzal Guru.
